Die einzelnen Arbeitsschritte zum Herstellen des jeweiligen Spleißes werden in der App gut gezeigt und abgebildet. Für die wichtigsten Arten von Tauwerk zeigt die App mögliche Spleiße. Ich kann die App empfehlen; denn sie macht es einfach, sich in die „Welt des Spleißens“ einzuarbeiten. Die gezeigten Beispiele funktionieren auch mit Seilmaterial anderer Hersteller. Danke!

It’s a useful basic list - free!
Not as many splices as in a book, but, it’s fee and it covers a few basics clearly. Thank you.

Very useful to have lots of different splices clearly explained in a single app. UI is very simple and easy to use.

Das Buch allerdings an Bord gibt dann beim Spleißen die notwendigen und detailliert geschriebenen Anleitungen. Hier wollte ich bei der Arbeit im Schiff sicher keinen YouTube Film ständig hin und her spulen, um die Feinheiten der Arbeit zu erkennen.

Premium rope has the best splicing App and videos
This App is now completely free. Some older reviews complain that a previous version only offered 3 splices for free. This version has all the splices for free.
I leaned to splice by watching the Premium Rope YouTube videos. They are well done, informative, and to the point. I am really glad they have now a free App for those times I am on the boat with no internet access. The step by step pictures are a great reminder on the step by step splicing instructions I learned on the videos.

Hidden costs
It is a really good app but if you want some more sophisticated design expect to pay 8,49$
Not so much.
Been watching vids online to learn splicing. Thought downloading this app would be nice to have when out of cell coverage. Only a few splices are free. Each additional is 5.99. Do the math and to have an app of all the splices would be over $100. No Thanks.
I appreciate the online vids Premium Ropes has and was thinking of buying some tools from them to help support the video production. However, after downloading this waste of time I have a bad taste in my mouth, and probably won’t.
If it were really free and just sponsored by the Co, I think they would be more successful in the long run, as it think it would help get them more tools and rope business.
App only has pics not Vids by the way.

Expensive for what it is
Small selection of splices all of which are done elsewhere and often better online. Some explanations are thin. It’s as if the person writing the captions got bored and hoped the pictures would do the work.

Looks good but only 4 free. Have to pay for the remaining 29. No thanks!
Very good Splicing instructions
This App offers clear and easy to follow instructions for the most common but also for some more advanced splices. The author also publishes very good instruction videos on his website but this app is perfect when you are on the go. Very useful when you are on the boat and there is no internet! Many thanks for putting this together!

Not worth buying the Pro version.
It lacks of additional and detailed information for big parts of the splicing images. Each and every free YouTube video instructions are way better than this. IMO this is scam and rip off...
