It reads public feeds from BBC, Reuters, Al Jazeera, Euronews, UN News, ReliefWeb, GDACS and USGS, rates every story by severity, and alerts you about the topics you care about.

PRIVACY
No account, no ads, no third-party trackers. Your watchlist, supply lists, emergency contacts and saved articles stay on your device. The only thing the app sends out is an anonymous, one-off count of installations. The full policy is linked in Settings.
IMPORTANT
PrepAlert is a news reader with an alerting function. It is not an official warning system and no replacement for government alerts such as NL-Alert, sirens or Cell Broadcast. Severity ratings are automated estimates and can be wrong. In an emergency, always call your local emergency number and follow official instructions.
