Great value

Pretty good app for the price. Really nice to have maps books and the ai altogether

Not very realistic or updated

Looking through this, the AI side of it mostly gave me responses saying it “not able to do that” or something. Especially on the medical side of things. Secondly, the maps are only of big cities. Third and biggest, 99% of the books and manuals on this app are way outdated and old. Being in the military for 12 years and still currently, these manuals are way outdated and there are newer updated versions that they need to upload on this app. If it’s over 15 years old, it’s probably not accurate anymore. Times change, battle and survival changes with technology, and when those change, so do techniques. More things are added and changed. Some of these manuals aren’t even in use by military they’re so old.

Response from developer

Thank you for your service — 12 years of active military experience is exactly the kind of perspective we take seriously, so we want to address each point directly and honestly. On the AI responses: Our app operates within Apple's App Store content guidelines, which require certain question categories to be restricted across all AI apps on the platform. That said, our latest update has significantly expanded what the AI can address — full wound care, trauma response, tourniquet application, shock treatment, infection management, fracture splinting, and field medicine across the board are all fully supported and answered in detail from military source material. We are continuously pushing the boundaries of what we can offer within Apple's framework and integrating ongoing model improvements with every update. On the maps: This has been completely rebuilt from the ground up. We replaced the regional packs entirely with full offline coverage of all 50 states plus Washington D.C. — every road, trail, rural route, and terrain feature downloaded directly to your device. Zero internet. No exceptions. This is no longer a city-focused product. On the books: 43 of our 74+ titles were published 2010 or newer — over half the library is current doctrine including modern emergency medical protocols, updated disaster response guides, and contemporary tactical references. The foundational military manuals remain because they are still the bedrock of survival doctrine worldwide — but they sit alongside modern material, not instead of it. If you have specific newer manuals you'd recommend we add, we genuinely want to hear from you directly. The version you reviewed and the app that exists today are fundamentally different. We'd welcome you back to test it.

It’s very useful if you hike or go on trails with no service maybe in the mountains because you can download maps and vital information
