I paid the subscription, and then (their AI type filters which include digital flash) expire in less than 10 applications, then they ask you to buy more credits after paying subscription! It doesn’t reset again until 1 year later! Had to buy another app (Old Roll) which didn’t do this. Don’t waste your money on this app.

Overages
I like the app, I’m not happy with the payment system. I feel a little ripped off. I requested an adjustment for the price to reflect commitment for the year and they continued to charge above and beyond what I believe I should have been paying based on a monthly payment.
Subscription greed
This app was and is amazing. Unfortunately now that the developers have gotten into the greed due to popularity growth, this app is completely unusable unless you feed into the subscription. It’s priced at a decent amount for a month, but would cause overuse and useless edits because of trying to get their moneys worth. Very disappointed it has gotten this way.

Misleading and Sneaky
Paid the yearly subscription (because the weekly price is kind of insane) and it absolutely leads you to believe that you have full access to all filters.
Played around with some of the AI filters and suddenly get a pop up telling me I’m out of ‘coins’ and need to purchase more if I want to be able to continue to use those filters. Sorry, that is NOT full access and is incredibly misleading.
Sure, these filters require more processing. But I have already PAID and that should cover it. The fact that you lead users to believe they have full and unlimited access and then hit them with a paywall is, frankly, scummy. Not once did the app say anything about coins prior to them running out. You’re not told when you’re using them, or how many you’re using. Besides, if someone pays a yearly subscription that should cover everything. Please reconsider removing extra paywalls because you are going to lose customers and ratings over this.

Requires credits in addition to subscription
This bait and switch regarding “credits” was never clearly described in the subscription process. I purchased annual “Gold” which I assumed covered all effects, but now I learn applying AI effects uses up credits. I now cannot process any AI effects because the app says I am out of credits, and offers to sell me more. $50 for 157 AI edits. If often takes several AI edits to find the right effect. This is outrageous.

This app is fantastic, offering a huge range of filters, effects, and adjustments for photos and video. The only downside is that AI effects can’t be previewed on my photos before using credits, so I’ve sometimes spent money on effects that don’t suit my images.

Don’t recommend it’s a great app but they charge you for everything not worth the money

Since the time I’ve purchased this app until now, there has been a substantial switch towards AI based filters; meaning that one needs extra credits apart for the exorbitant yearly subscription to do anything as the non-AI filters have seen to have decreased in comparison. A big con.
Poor UI
Not transparent which filters are free and which are paid, you have to click every single filter to see if it's able to be saved, as most of them require you to subscribe to use the filter. 1. I'll never subscribe to a photo app 2. not user friendly to non-subscription buyers
Looking for new apps
I have been using this app for almost 5 years and it has been so amazing. However, i logged back in after a while and everything is really expensive. You can’t use the color filters or the effects without paying for a subscription. The entire reason i downloaded this app was because everything was free and so much fun. Very disappointed in the way the app has taken a turn.

Absolutely terrible app
Did a few kinda cool ones but just all looks so fake. Plus even after you’ve paid, you still only have a very limited number of credits which you then have to pay for more credits. After about 5 photos you’re paying a silly amount of money over the initial £15. Total scam if you ask me, you can get Grok or another platform like that to perform far better. Very very disappointed.
