Great app that can be usable with iPhone 7 and 11
The updates have been getting better, and landscape works good, and doesn’t mess up the mixer mains. since our church uses a Studio 32.4.2AI, it remains very functional!
Good mixer, garbage app
This app has had multiple issues since I bought my Presonus StudioLive 24R a year ago. Failures connecting, failures updating, failures launching.
I can now only get the app to connect with an outdated version on an old Samsung tablet. My new iPhone and iPad will not connect.
This is a deal breaker when it IS the control surface for the mixer. How am I supposed to use my $1,000 mixer when the free app interface is worthless?

Poor App
We have had numerous problems with the app. To this day I am still unable to connect my phone with this app.

Ignore old bad reviews
App still has a low rating because people were quick to leave a bad review when the app was unstable 7-8 years ago but not many have left a positive review when it became rock solid shortly after. I’ve been using a 16R for 3-4 years with 2-3 band members using the Qmix app to control their IEM mixes. As long as you use a stable WiFi router, the entire setup is as solid as it gets. The Qmix app is super handy and well thought out. Selecting the channels that are “Me” so that you can simply use the Me/Band balancing wheel in portrait mode is genius. Don’t hesitate to jump into the Studiolive ecosystem.

This is good!
I use the 32R and this is a fantastic way of giving your IEM users control of there mix. I rarely even listen to a foldback mix now unless I think a user is struggling to hear what they are doing, usually it’s because they are turning everything up and not listening for what can be turned down:)!
Landscape mode?
We’re forced to use the iPad version to control the mix. Landscape doesn’t work. Needs to be fixed.

Unreliable
When it works, it’s cool! It just isn’t reliable. Fixing app this should be top priority for Presonus, because it makes some of their best features completely irrelevant.
Very buggy
Please update this app. It’s very inconsistent and does not work as well as it should. Great app in theory, just needs bugs worked out of it.
Pénible
De toute les logiciels que vous faites, celui-ci c’est le plus pénible pour contrôler notre mix. Enlevez votre grosse roulette pour contrôler notre volume et mettez des feader d’entrées de console avec un master volume de notre mix.
Landscape mode
My church has used this app for several weeks now with little issues. However, this past week, the levels for two separate mixes defaulted back to an unknown default setting and would not allow us to adjust levels until closing the app and reopening. This is a huge issue with live performances as several instruments in the mix suddenly change volume levels. In addition to this recent issue, several phones have not been able to use the landscape setting and therefore they cannot adjust levels at all. This is also a vital issue as the app is basically useless to those individuals. Please update this app and correct these bugs. I noticed it’s been 2 years since an update and reading through the reviews, these are common issues and my problem is by no means unique.

The app on the iPad works. But the one on my phone to control the mix for each musician. Is not connecting to the mixer ,,, cant even see it on the iPhone app ? Need an update for this guys

Volume Fader Missing
Essentially a good app. A few things that could be better:
- Instrument Icons Sync from Mixer
- Volume Fader for Aux -> what I mean by that is, that I want to control the output of that aux via this app
If the volume fader is added, this app will get 5 ⭐️

Upgrade your mixer software if app 3.0v doesn’t work
We depend so much on this application!!! Please at least let us know if you’re working on it. Many people in the band are complaining to me.
Wish it worked
Couldn't get it to work no matter what. Presonus has a long way to go as far as integrating their gear with devices. Plus they are constantly changing the hardware without allowing cross generational usability. Why spend $2k on something that will only be relevant for a year?
