Practical and life saving tips on how to communicate with someone who has suicidal ideas

The app contains practical tips on how to approach the topic of suicide, including suggested text messages which I personally found very helpful. When dealing with a suicidal sibling, it can be extremely difficult to know what to say and how to say it. The app navigates all of this, and makes it easier and quicker to communicate your concern, love and support.

Feedback from my brother suggests that text msgs are one of the best ways to communicate on such a delicate topic. Having in-person conversations can be much more difficult, and are often more confronting for the patient than a simple text.

Lastly, it is obviously essential that the patient also receives professional help at the same time as emotional support from family/friends who are aware of the situation.

In summary, I highly recommend this app.
