Previn

Previn is your personal wine guide for anywhere wine happens: a restaurant wine list, the wine shop, the grocery aisle or a friend's dinner table. The more Previn knows your likes and dislikes, the better every recommendation gets. BUILT AROUND YOUR PERSONAL STYLE Tell Previn what you love and what you'd rather avoid, in your own words: "I love Chablis," "I love Bordeaux," "I avoid heavy tannin." Choose the red, white and sparkling styles that sound like you, and fine-tune body and acidity. Save and rate the wines you drink, or mark one "Not for me." Previn brings it all together in My Wine in Words, a plain-language picture of your palate that grows with every bottle. RECOMMENDATIONS THAT KNOW YOU Every pick comes with a short, friendly reason, connected to what you've told Previn: "You love white Burgundy, and this Corton-Charlemagne sits right in that world." SCAN A BOTTLE Point your camera at any label to learn what's in the bottle: the producer, region and grape, what it tastes like, what to serve it with, and how it fits your taste. COMPARE BOTTLES Standing in a wine shop deciding between bottles? Photograph them side by side and Previn tells you how they differ and which suits you better. REVIEW A WINE LIST At a restaurant, snap the wine list or a preferred section, set your type, glass or bottle, and budget, and Previn suggests the wines on that page that fit you, with prices from the list. ASK ANYTHING "What's a good Italian white if I love Chablis?" "Does this have a lot of oak?" "What goes with duck?" Ask in your own words, the way you'd ask a sommelier. MY WINES Keep every wine you've scanned, saved and rated in one place, organized by style, place or where you found it. Previn is for adults 21 and over. Previn does not sell alcohol.
