Version 1.0.2 — Big update with many improvements FOR CUSTOMERS • New home screen with three clear options: Price Lookup, Update My Info, and Sign Up. • Personalized VIP pricing: enter your phone when looking up a product and see your special price instantly. • Phone number validated in real time — clear messages if your account isn't registered or is still pending activation. • Automatic 1-minute logout to protect your activated session. FOR iPAD IN-STORE (KIOSK) • Dedicated iPad layout with large, finger-friendly buttons. • Numeric on-screen keypad that NEVER closes when an external scanner (USB or Bluetooth) is connected. • Auto-timer: the iPad returns to the scanner if no product is searched in 15 seconds, and back to the home screen if no scan happens either. • More stable external scanner: it no longer interrupts the customer typing their phone. FOR STAFF • Camera / External Scanner toggle on Price Check and Photo Upload screens. • On-screen keyboard appears automatically when a Bluetooth/USB scanner is connected to the iPhone, so staff can log in and type codes without issue. • Photo upload with a confirmation sound when finished. SCANNER AND EXPERIENCE • Camera scanner reads 1D barcodes (not just QR) with a wider rectangular reticle. • Confirmation sounds: discount found, error, success, sign-out, photo upload complete. PRIVACY AND SECURITY • Dedicated, isolated API endpoint for this app with hardened JWT audience, app-key gating, and per-phone rate limiting. • In-app account deletion flow (compliant with Apple Guideline 5.1.1). • General performance, stability and privacy improvements.
