ADVERTISING NIGHTMARE

I barely got my first item in and an advertising video came up before I could even go to the next step. Absolutely useless garbage app. You could at least give somebody five minutes before the advertising starts because I’m already done with it.

What good is the bar code scanner?

I downloaded this app to be able to scan the bar code instead of typing in the product name to make it faster to load my frequently purchased items. App does not identify the product name. What is the point of the bar code scanner?

Limited to 50 Items

Once you have reached 50 items you cannot add anymore - defeats the purpose of comparative shopping.

Not for me

Not bad, but I gave up trying to evaluate it for my needs - ads are too frequent in the free version. The 'personal info linked to you' in the app disclosure seems excessive.
-2 for ad frequency, -1 for personal info tracking.
A little more than I'm willing to pay for the Pro version.

I really do t like to do this

I hate writing negative reviews. I hate having negative things to say at all about someone’s hard ‘work’. But this just doesn’t work! It plain and simply, doesn’t work! Did I say it doesn’t work? It really doesn’t work.

Unintuitive and Clunky

Unintuitive with poorly designed GUI. Scanning barcodes does nothing.

Terrific App!

Exactly what I’ve been looking for. Just a wonderful way to compare prices between stores. Better yet, I encountered a small problem and the developer worked tirelessly to resolve it (on a Sunday no less!). Since I regularly shop at 8 different stores, this is truly invaluable. It will save me a ton of money since I’ve already discovered huge price differences which I was not aware of.

REFUND IS NOT ACCEPTABLE, THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU PURCHASE THIS APP.

You cannot select how you want the unit cost to be displayed. For example, something is 300 g for $3.00
This app will show the unit cost as $0.01/g. While what I want to see is showing $10/kg instead. 0.01/g don’t make sense at all.

Also the number pad arrangement is horrible, this app put “0” and “.” On the side of the number pad instead of underneath of 1-9. You have to accommodate it. This is how it is.

Hi JC CHC, the unit cost will be shown according to the unit you have chosen. If you want to see it showing $10/kg, then input " price = $3, Qty Per Package = 1, Unit Value = 0.3, Unit = kg, then you will get the result of $10/kg. " As for the number pad, we have designed the number pad based on the way that convenient to users. Needs to sync between devices

Would be a great enhancement to this app if it would sync between my iPad and iPhone. It’s easier to enter all of the information about a product on a lager screen (iPad), and then use my iPhone when I’m out doing my shopping add/compare prices.

30 minutes later, no idea how you enter prices.

I don’t want to use bar codes for everything

One star

Froze my iPhone on the first item I attempted to enter. Did not calculate unit price after I entered price and quantity. No ability to enter sales tax or shipping separately. Needs an instruction manual.

Awesome Grocery price tracker!

I just scan all the items i frequently buy and record the price each time I bought it or I see it at supermarket. It will take some times to set up the items in the beginning. But once you done the beginning part, you will be surprise with how convenient it is everytime I wanna to check the item price on spot and compare it with previous price records. I love the comparison calculator which helps a lot when I wonder which packaging size of item is cheaper. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
