Doesn’t work
Seems like it would be useful but does not work…created account and went through questions. It signed me out but does not let me sign in and password reset does not work.
Helped me see privacy blind spots!
I usually try to stay very in tune with my online privacy, but once I got this app I realized that I was falling short in many areas! Important websites and privacy tools. Priiv turns the confusing and convoluted into clear and resolvable!
FIXED: Pausing Privacy Path progression is unacceptable
UPDATE: THIS IS NOW FIXED.
If the privacy and security concerns and risks Priiv seeks to address and remediate are real (which they are), then pausing users’ progression on the Privacy Path prolongs users exposure to those risks.
This is unacceptable. Priiv should allow users to complete the Privacy Path at their own pace and not needlessly hamper them.

You're right, and we have significantly reduced the likelihood of any user seeing this 'pause', which was only seen after a user completed several dozen privacy improvements in a single calendar day. This was in place to protect against score manipulations, and we have implemented other protections for that issue.
“Cute” but not what I thought
I was under the impression that this app would automate privacy, not just a checklist. All of which I had already done previously. Nice checklist but not much else. Would I recommend it? Maybe. Would I use it. No

Best app there is for true privacy
Honestly I have been searching for an app like this to truly help provide privacy and the tools and actions to do so. After my email was hacked and I got hundreds of unwanted emails, enough was enough. Priiv gave me what I needed to truly feel like I am protected from this type of thing from recurring again. This kind of app is needed now, more than ever with everything going on. Highly recommend.

Perfect personal security( guard) at my finger tips!
PRIIV is the perfect app for right now- who’s not worried about personal privacy all over the internet, and social media. It’s been especially prefect, and so useful for me- being a completely non techy person, who needs good, clear step by step tutorial instructions- this app offers that with great graphics, easy to follow informational clips to turn into immediate personal security. Allows me to create the personal security that right for me, as I’m learning how unprotected I’ve been (better late then never). Appreciate the reminders to keep improving my security level, and the depth of each step by step- makes me feel more and more safe, and private from the “worldwide web eye’s”. Definitely the app I need in my pocket at this time of the world.

This app was really helpful in identifying ways I could improve my online security that are specific to my needs.
Intuitive and Easy
Having worked in Computer Security, I am aware of the value and need for good privacy. This app is an excellent and simple way to add the privacy features each person feels is most appropriate for their needs. Even better, the reasons for each, and methods of accomplishing them, are clearly shown. Even in early beta it was an important app, but now I'd say it's downright essential.

Makes privacy approachable!
The app is sort of like duolingo for privacy! It breaks it all down into bite-sized tasks - really great way to make progress and protect yourself.
I like the Level of Privacy Control
I like how Priiv lets me control my level of privacy and security. The step-by-step onboarding process is easy to complete and gives immediate, progressive feedback. I get to choose a privacy level that matches my professional and personal lifestyle, and the level of privacy I desire on each of the apps I use.

Eye opening yet fun
I’ll admit I don’t think of privacy as fun but this app is fun to use. It uses a gamification model (which I like) to show how Facebook and other apps are taking my data - and those of my connections. That was surprising to me, and I am digitally savvy. I also like how easy and slick it is to use, learn more, and protect my data by raising my score. Thanks Team Priiv!

Priiv Delivers Privacy and Peace of Mind
I don’t like that every app and service has opt’d me into sharing data and I have to play “search and destroy” to opt back out. What I like about Priiv is that they’ve done the hard part, finding all the places that I can lock my data down on all of my devices and so many of the services I use on my phone and computer, or at home. I feel safer knowing I taken all the right steps and the PriivScore feels like a badge I’ve earned. I also like having a checklist of tools and getting recommendations for which to add (some I did have already). Looking forward to future updates.

Excellent privacy app
The Priiv app was my guide and friend in a complex and overwhelming category. I felt like I had a personal privacy helper with the easy tips and instructions and engaging videos. I am not super techie but I’ve known I needed to do something about my digital privacy but too overwhelmed to figure out how to start. Priiv made it easy to start and actually kept me engaged to check off more of my tasks. I love the score feature because I am competitive :) so I am motivated to continue to move forward in the app and see my score rise! And I am learning a lot from the Easter egg tips throughout each stage. I do feel like I am not alone now and can make educated and meaningful steps towards my own privacy.

Peace of mind for an online shopping enthusiast
Priiv is a fantastic privacy app. I’m a huge user of the Real Real, Etsy and lots of subscription box companies. I’m nervous with all of these start-ups having my credit card as data breaches have been occurring so frequently especially with everyone working from home.
I looked at online VPNs and other mobile encryption software but downloaded Priiv first to get their recommendations. It was great to learn what tools I should be using and how those tools could be used to protect my privacy online. I didn’t realize how at risk my data was until I saw my initial privacy score - ouch!!! I’ve since improved it a lot 💪with their recommendations and haven’t had an issue with any hacks or data breaches.

Why send me a outdated version of this app-if you have-no intentions of sending me the updated version of Priiv . This is useless to me-plus I don't use twitter and from my understanding you track everything that I do thats not what I 🚷 up for-there are better apps that I can use to protected my privacy thanks but no thanks . You get a one star rating from me because-you are deceitful and misleading

Sorry you downloaded a version that was accidentally released and quickly removed so you could not use it. Not sure where you got mistaken information about our tracking, but the minimal amount of data we get is detailed in our privacy policy and statement. Please get the current version and contact us if you have any further questions or issues.
