iOS 18 doesn't working...
The app doesn't work on iOS 18. The mirror just doesn't see the opened file even though the iPhone is connected to Mac.

Works great but doesnāt work over WiFi
Pretty frustrating since most apple laptops donāt have a USB port anymore. It would be great to support over WiFi

If I want to share a .prd file with someone to test a prototype they are unable to open the file in their Principle app. I want to share a link to the .prd via Dropbox. But when they download the file on mobile safari and tap āOpen with Principleā under share, the file does not open. Impossible to share prototypes with team or testers.

No Wireless connection
This app doesnāt allow you to connect your designs via Bluetooth. Now that Macās are using less cables and more wireless connections it makes it very difficult to view designs on mobile.

Keeps crashing
When I first downloaded this app it worked great with small projects. Now that Iām working on a larger prototype the app crashes within seconds of mirroring the file. This is quite frustrating - please fix this!

Killer to pair with Desktop app.
Honestly with the slightest bit of love and attention to detail the desktop application provides, you can make anything feel real.
Hoping for a wider array of video support in the future. Unsure which codecs that support transparency are usable in Principle Mirror. Iāve had no luck so far, but itās honestly the only con I could identify.

Critical component of my companyās workflow
My company specializes in interaction design. I donāt think there exists any other software that enables prototyping quite as fast as Principle, or as speedy (high FPS). Great job.

It simply doesnāt open more than 1 file. Itās always full screen. 3 tap doesnāt work. What should I do???
No way to turn off interactive areas
I looked in the app settings and no luck. The space is empty. I have a user study tomorrow and all my prototypes are now unusable.
Scroll views in the latest update are broken on iPhone X
I would not recommend upgrading to version 4.1. Scroll views are not working correctly on iPhone X. It is unusable now as scroll views are the most common elements. And yes, yellow boxes should be part of a debugging mode not when you are presenting your prototype.

At the time of this review, you had 4.0 installed, not 4.1 like you thought. If you update to 4.1, the scroll views are working properly and there is a preference to turn on and off highlight interactive areas.
Update Issue- Yellow Boxes around Active Layers
Is anyone else getting yellow boxes around active layers?? It is driving me absolutely nuts! Hope you guys can fix asap.

Good but not quite there
Good but not quite there. Include ability to test on Apple Watch, youāll then have a fairly solid app.

Apple Watch does not allow display of custom layers like the kind that you create Principle; this makes it impossible to display Principle designs on an Apple Watch.
Mirror is not reflective of mac app preview
After 3.0 update the mirror app doesn't maintain the scroll and page state as shown in web app playback view. Always resets back to zero. It is not a true representation of what is mocked up. Please fix.
