User reviews

Perfect for newbie collectors

Getting into art and antiques can be confusing, but this app breaks it down nicely. Thanks to the developers for creating something approachable.

Exceptional Identification App—Worth Every Cent!

Prisma easily stands out as one of the best tools I’ve used for identifying art, antiques, and rare collectibles. It’s incredibly accurate at recognizing everything from paintings and prints to books, Japanese woodblocks, and even handwritten letters from the early 1900s. I’ve tested it on a wide range of items—even pieces with subtle maker’s marks—and it consistently gets them right.
While the valuation estimates are helpful, I treat them as general guides rather than firm appraisals, which is exactly how the app presents them. For higher-value pieces, Prisma even recommends getting a professional appraisal, which I appreciate.
Other than the occasional short freeze (quickly fixed by restarting), the app runs smoothly. I went ahead and bought the year-long subscription without hesitation—it’s absolutely worth it for everything it offers.
