They aren’t using their web service, they are using your phones processor. Look for “Private LLM” instead.

Works with iPad 9 if you use a TinyLLAMA
I have tried countless Local AI apps and most of them claim to be compatible with iPad 9, only to end up not being the case due to limited memory. I downloaded this app and added the TinyLlama-1.1B-Chat-v0.3-GGUF and it works without a hitch.
My only complaints, are the naming the chats does nothing, they still show up as Private and the entry of text is not legible in Dark mode. If the developer can address these two issues, I would easily change my rating to 5 stars.

App preview video and screenshots show case feature before install/purchase, AI accuracy on all chatbots are main feature of each app, as all have similar chatbot interface but power of an app is its AI model , compare other apps accuracy and response with Private AI, also compare features of Private AI specially new updates like document pdf reading as well

i can only get one response from AI， if a try another word ，the app crashed and exit。 after being updated, the problem exists as before/please fix the crash 3q
