Fooled me again
The idea behind this game is great. It really is! This is a thinking person’s game. Reflexes don’t matter. Strategy is what matters. But I HATE the swirling circle around the football.
It’s not realistic, and it ruins the entire experience for me. Have you ever watched a football game where a weird circle swirls around the football? I haven’t. That’s why I deleted a previous version of this game, one that I paid good money for.
But right in the 2022 description it says that you that can customize the football images. So sucker that I am, I bought the game again. There it is again, a weird circle swirling around the football. If you can customize this, I don’t know how. It’s not in the options. Do you have to download some obscure mod? Or maybe search around the internet for some mysterious folder?
I’m not interested in trying to figure that out. This game’s description simply does not deliver. One star.

Favorite historical simulation
I love this simulation. I wish there was a 2023 version of the game available. The platform gets better each year.

love how this game can be customized to your liking. Don’t like the default stuff included with the app? There’s plenty of community made mods to satisfy you. If you want a Realistic NFL experience with real team logos,real players and coaches, coach and player photos and names there’s a mod for that! Want a CFB experience there’s a mod for that too. What I truly love about this game is you can have 2 different leagues play against each other which means you can live out your wildest American Football fantasies like if you have a college team mod and an NFL Team mod installed you can see if The Georgia Bulldogs Can beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or if the Ohio State Buckeyes can blow out an NFL team And you can either watch the game play by play with animated player sprites (which are really cool) or get to the final score straight away if you’re short on time.
I like how the game is realistic in how results of plays are calculated and I like how it’s shown with those cool player sprites. I also love the subtle 2017 Atlanta Falcons joke “just ask the Atlanta team of a past championship game if things can go from great to awful in a blink of an eye”-pulled from the PSF user manual under the PSF Category and INTRO topic
word of warning: When you first launch the game after installing it from the App Store it WILL crash after you restart your iPhone/iPad the game will work fine this is what I’ve discovered when I first launched the game on my iPhone and my iPad.

Where’s the 2022 schedule?
I enjoy this and all but where on earth is the 2022 schedule?
Fun but!
I want to start off by saying I do love this game and would love a baseball or basketball version of this. However, my 2 biggests complaints are as follows. 1. I’ve had multiple times where I’m up by 17+ plus points going into the 4th and a team who hasn’t done anything all game long all of sudden turns into beast mode and either comes back to win or only lose by 3. I was up 24-3 going into the 4th and lost 24-27. I get that comebacks happen but not to the level that it happens currently. 2. I have 2 different leagues 1 that I play and 1 that I sim and in my sim league I had teams that started around 95 and teams that were around 55. By the time about 10 seasons passed every team leveled out and are now 77-81 overall. It seems like that is the best a team can get to which is unrealistic. I’m not sure why teams can not get any better than that so now basically any team can get a title. Like I said I really like the game but these 2 things are very frustrating and really should be addressed.

Terrible
Extremely boring and lacks any real managing of the roster. Don’t expect a interactive team building mode because this game doesn’t have trades, contracts, any sort of monitory system, or a realistic draft. Decent coaching simulation but other than that literally no reason to buy it. Waste of $5 and an hour or so of my time.

Lots of potential!
The simulation is a little clunky but it’s honestly pretty good considering how new the game is. This game is a great start and I hope more features and refinements are added in the future. My only complaint is that some of the college uniforms don’t match the schools colors in game. Oregon state is one example where the uniforms are blue when they should be orange and black. It looks like you can fix this with mods but it would be nice to have an update to fix these as well!

Best football game app on the market!! The gameplay is always entertaining and the modder community has created a library of rosters to satisfy any fan. I’d give it 10 stars if I could!!
