Thank you for your feedback. We understand the settings can be confusing for beginners, but the good news is you don't need to dig into the main Settings menu for this. To change your range, simply use the Octave Switches located directly on the main screen (on the right side, above and below the music sheet). - Look for the buttons labeled '8va' (this is for shifting one octave). - Tap the switch below the music sheet to sing an octave lower. When you close the popup message, these switches should highlight in yellow to help you find them. We hope this helps you enjoy the app!
