What’s gone wrong?

I presume the app has been “updated and improved” .... as totally difo interface since I last looked at my sub. It’s terrible, resolution is now wrong on my iPad Pro. The pages are small and now don’t fill in the screen.... and the quality of the image that is there is terrible. If it’s not “corrected” I’ll cancel my subs. Someone needs to be fired, a sure fire way to loose subscribers and money. Let’s see if anyone cares enough to put this right. Shocking.

Login ID created in app not working on web/internet

Purchased few past issues via app after registering/creating account in app. However when I try to login in website it mentions that the email is not registered and does not allows me to login with my username/password. Please fix this bug. Otherwise the content and pricing is nice and on the spot.

I love the print magazine and find the app really handy. Lovely, inspiring magazine full of the latest gear and techniques. Can’t recommend enough!!

Does not deliver on a time as per the contractual agreement.

It arrives 2 months late. And that’s after complaining.

Sort the resolution out!

This is a great mag in print, but I've marked low as the iPad version is pretty much unusable. The images are all low resolution and paths on cutouts show up pixelated. This is a real shame as this could look great on iPad. I don't have a problem that it's just a 'PDF page turner' but at least make it high res. even the text pixelates when zoomed to a comfortable reading size. I won't be buying again. Sort it out!

Beware

Beware of purchasing. I brought an electronic special edition magazine. They decided to no longer publish it. I had to reset my ipad and have been told that I can no longer have what i paid for. They were not proactive in advising me of this nor did they give an immediate refund ( I want what I paid for not a refund). This seems ethically wrong. They can't just take away something that belongs to me - there is a word for this. I have cancelled my subscription.

Nothing free here!

Just a ploy to get you to subscribe to one or many different apps that cost $. Don't waste your time if you want it free.

I d/l last night, nothing just lots of ad. Do not d/l it. Doesn't do anything. It's just ads.

app problem

I am guessing that the developer is aware of some of the issues highlighted by other reviewers, I would like to add that the thumbnail view along the bottom of the screen with the page numbers highlighted just shows grey boxes. I am using an ipad 3, I don't remember this being an issue on my ipad 2 when I had it.
The content on business matters is helpful, even though I am not in business, it lets you know what is required. I think some of the stuff that is offered as special issues should be included, it is getting a bit heavy on ads...

Not Free

When you see a magazine in the Free section, you expect it to actually be free. This is just a stupid app to get you to buy a subscription. Don't download it if you are expecting a free magazine.

Seems good to me

Not sure what it was like before but I've just signed up for a subscription as I loved my first issue. Looking forward to the next one now

Handy

Easy to use, with great images and inspiration! Dont get any of the faults others are talking about. Think an update has been made to sort it.

Very poor for a professional magazine

I don't often write reviews but this very poor for what is supposed to be professional magazine.

Just download the free issue and all the reviews below are correct. Pages are all over the place flicking backwards and forwards until I just get a black screen then nothing else. This happened immediately. Glad I haven't spent any money.

Almost puts me off buying the print version for what is one of my favourite magazines.

If I ran the magazine I would be asking some serious questions about how this app could have even been published in this state.

If somebody from the company is reading this for info my iPad is a first generation. I have about 12 magazine subscriptions with this being the only one I have any problems with. In fact I am sure some of the other subscriptions or also on pixel mags so can only assume it has something todo with the way this digital magazine has been formatted.

In addition to my earlier comments I logged a support call, was told to delete the app and turn off my iPad and reinstall.

I still have the same problem.

Would be nice to know if this works for anybody else.

Anyway, will keep trying to work through it with support as I do love the magazine.

Terrible

I am using an iPad 2 and this is the only magazine that doesn't work properly. As mentioned in all the other reviews, the pages either do not load fully (ie remain pixelated) or do not load at all (black screen). It will flick past certain pages too.

I was very excited when I received the email saying that this was launched, and this is a real disappointment.

Please let us know when the app has been fixed, and please don't publicise or let others download it until it works otherwise you waste people's time.

Not good at all

Has the developer actually tested this? Swiping pages doesn't work properly (on free Jan issue) - pages are skipped, black pages - crashes.

Crash central

Brought the June issue and I can manage to read 1-2 pages before it crashes. Total pain, please sort it ASAP or I'll be buying no more issues!!!!

Not great

Much more expensive than the magazine subscription. Half the pages don't even load and just come up blank. Should not have been released with these problems. Stick to the paper copy and save money while your at it.

subscription on ipad is 39.99, but if you go on the internet its only 27! nice one :)

Crash, Boom, Bang

I can't read it as it crashes, locks and resets. Running latest iOS on the iPad 2.
