Wow!!!
Finally got the Progression Distributor installed and WOW!!! It is so nice to be able to fine tune advance. The truck ran ok with the last distributor but I didn’t realize how much was left on the table that I can now dial in. Not to mention I can save and load timing tables for various condition. I also found I could provide Chat GPT my build specs and then share an image of my timing table and get some useful tips for dialing in things even more, this was very helpful for someone like me still on the learning curb.
An enhancement I would love to see on the App is the ability to swipe left or right to cycle between the active table and the gauges.

It’s about time…
I’ve been messing with cars, old fashion distributors and carburetors for 45 years, and I’ve learned that most of the carburetor problems I tried to tune away were actually ignition problems.
I made progress, but had nothing to work with, flyweights and springs are steam engine technology. This distributor and this app are the greatest thing since canned beer. I have never been able to get as much drivability out of a performance distributor tune, throttle response and tip in performance is great. I don’t always resort to electronics, but in this case it was just what I needed.
