About
Surviving sudden cardiac arrest depends on how quickly the people nearby recognize it and act. Project ADAM takes your school's cardiac emergency response plan off the shelf and turns it into something your staff practices, measures, and keeps current.
Built for schools taking part in the Project ADAM Heart Safe Schools program.
BUILD YOUR EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM
Form your school's cardiac emergency response team and invite faculty by email. Assign each member a role — athletic director, counselor, librarian, or a title you define — and designate your team leaders. See at a glance who is on the roster, who is certified, and
who still needs attention.
RUN DRILLS AGAINST THE CLOCK
Start a drill and log each milestone the moment it happens: the drill announced overhead, 911 called, CPR started, the AED arriving on scene, pads placed, shock delivered, crowd control underway. A live timer runs the whole time, measured against the three-minute
goal. When the drill ends, you get a full timeline showing exactly where the minutes went — and where practice is needed.
Two kinds of drills are supported:
- Internal drills, run by your school or district whenever you want the reps.
- Heart-Safe Recognition Drills, run on site with a Project ADAM coordinator. A passing result certifies your school for three years.
Every drill is filed to your school's drill log, so you always have a record of when you last practiced and how the team performed.
TRAIN STAFF ON THE PROJECT ADAM CURRICULUM
Staff work through training modules at their own pace, review the key takeaways, and confirm what they have learned with a short quiz. Completed modules are tracked automatically, so administrators can see training status across the whole team instead of chasing
paper.
DOCUMENT REAL EVENTS
If a cardiac arrest happens on campus, file a report from the app: date, location, whether the site was designated Heart Safe, whether bystander CPR was provided and an AED used, whether EMS was contacted, and the outcome. Project ADAM follows up to schedule a
debrief so your school can learn from what happened.
OVERSEEING MORE THAN ONE SCHOOL
Administrators responsible for multiple schools can switch between them to review team readiness, drill history, and training compliance across the district from one place.
SIGN-IN REQUIRED
This app is for staff and administrators at schools enrolled in the Project ADAM Heart Safe Schools program. You will need an account from your school or your program coordinator to sign in. It is not a general-audience app, and it does not provide medical advice or
replace training, certification, or your local emergency services.
