Decent App. Poor support
Setting up the App was quite straightforward, hence 2 stars, but….having found 4 Project EV charger pods at Bowes Museum, I used the App to unsuccessfully connect to every one of them. I realised that each Pod had no WLAN connectivity, needed to connect with the App and start charging. It was then impossible to get back to the Message Centre in the App to report the problem. Tried to report it by phone to the Project EV Helpdesk but no reply.
Of course problems happen but you need a responsive way of resolving them.

Excellent Charger Set up Delivery
I have been using the project EV charger without setting it up properly for six months. But when I contacted the customer service at Project Manager EV; the setup was done over the phone and my Tesla now get 32amps charging without tripping. This has transformed my charging experience from stressful to excellent.

Waste of time
Local COOP has a Project EV pile for public use but the QR codes don’t work and the app is for home installation units (asks for installer name and date etc) not for public charging. Zero indication from the app of how to actually use this service. Useless.

Project EV vs Electric Miles
I used Project EV from the beginning. It was very good. I then tried Electric Miles. It never worked on Solar charging despite getting help from them. Have now gone back to Project EV - much happier.
No data export 6£ if you need it
It is utter disappointment of project EV that now they ask for money to send you your data which in turn cannot be downloaded from the app. The only way is to write it down by hand line by line. It’s 2025… just saying.
Miles behind
Such a poor app. So far behind other competitors. Buggy, crashes a lot, archaic connectivity and customer service just as poor. Unfortunately came with my new build, so replaced as soon as the issues became too much

What a horrific app. Total waste of an evening trying to set up my charger, the charger isn’t charging my car, I can’t connect to the charger via the app despite following all the online guides. I give up. Avoid at ALL costs

Customer service is terrible. App continuously crashes. Lots of bugs in app. Please fix and update your customers
Poor language and user interface
This app is really terrible. Very poor language used and very little of the language makes sense. It’s not user friendly at all. These developers are clueless and lack basic communication skills.

This app and the charger are the two worst products I have ever used. The charger was included on a new build house for free and I can see why. Utterly hopeless.

Need more features
Charger needs for functionality rfid is rubbish we want to be able to track usage of each person/staff member with the rfid cards so we can trace usage.
Regretting the purchase
Not reliable, poor reference material for fault resolution, look elsewhere.
