More practical than Duolingo
This one actually helps you practice conversations! And the AI part is helpful… the assessment picked up that I enjoy Spanish songs (why I’d love to learn the language), so it’s pairing me with an AI mentor who talks about music! Pretty cool, definitely much more useful than apps like Duolingo. Excited to continue!

Great for quick practice
I am starting to learn Spanish and this makes practicing in between tasks at work and home simple. My son likes to practice with me so we are learning together.
The app that finally got me speaking Spanish
I moved to Mexico City and couldn’t hold a conversation despite years of apps and classes. Project Fluency is completely different — you have real voice conversations with AI characters who remember your mistakes and actually use Mexican slang, not textbook phrases. After 2-3 weeks of talking to Luis and Mateo, I had my first real conversation with a street vendor and didn’t freeze up. The characters remember what you struggle with and bring it up next time. That’s what no other app does. If you’re serious about actually speaking Spanish, this is it.
