My Most Used App
Literally, other than messaging (and maybe maps) I use this app more than any other app I’ve ever had. So thankful for it every day! And for it to be free - what a gift! Not just to me, but to my children and grandchildren and even extended family. All the in-app purchases are reasonably priced and totally optional. You don’t have to hand them to use it. Thank you to everyone who works on this and keeps it going!

Fantastic!
Realized today, as I updated the app, that I’ve used it the last 9 years as I transition to more digital memory keeping and never reviewed it! Easy to use, great in app kits, and great customer service!
Technical issues
I used to love this app, but it doesn’t seem like the tech side of things works well anymore. Free form text tends to rearrange whole years worth of pages’ text formatting Willy Nilly, and fixing things over and over is exhausting.
Need more attention to this app!
I love the app, but don’t get the support I need. I am a subscriber, but that does not work well for me. It would be a solid 5 stars or more if possible if it wasn’t a left behind little sister app. Last new card sets were months ago. 😢
Love this app!
I have used this app for many years since not having time for old school scrapbooking and I love it. I have given albums to my parents and in-laws and anytime I order pages for myself, I order copies of the pages that they might like as well. My photo albums are treasured family memories!
You have to pay to add text.
I had to pay to install text. I was given a very limited choice of fonts to use, so I select “more”, and you have to pay even more. Jesus. So I broke down and paid $1.99 for the Carolyn font collection. Go back to work on this project and I can’t find the fonts, I am only shown the original set of fonts that came with paying $4.99 just to have the OPTION to USE fonts. It gives you the option to download your own fonts, but honestly that’s just too much. I feel a bit ripped off about this and wish there was a way to get the $7.00 back I paid for the option to use a very limited number of included fonts. This app was pretty cool a decade ago, but now it’s just a money grab. I am highly disappointed.

I have used this app for at least 5 years. I have done thousands of layouts, and 30 or so photo books with them.

I’ve been using Project Life for YEARS. It is the only application I use to help preserve my families memories. From the ease of use to the quality of the physical prints and books, I’m so very grateful for its existence! I highly recommend & always tell people about it.

I love this app, but…
…I’m surprised by the lack of compatibility between platforms. I created years worth of pages on my android phone and no longer have access to neither MY KITS I paid for, nor the PAGES I worked on for hours and hours. I realize I can export the completed pages, but why not have access to the PURCHASES across platforms? That seems like a simple account access issue..?
Anyways, that frustration aside, I LOVE creating these pages. It is so quick and so easy to record beautiful memories for my family. They are also pretty easy to export and share.

I never thought I would move from physical scrapping
but I did when I needed to simplify my possessions, and I’ve never looked back on physical products... I LOVE scrapping with this app. There are so many scrap kits available in the app for a low cost purchase, and some free ones also. Free fonts as well as a paid upgrade to upload any font you want. There are many videos by Becky Higgins as well as prominent digital scrappers on Facebook and YouTube to help us get the most out of this app. You won’t be alone in learning this app and getting tons of ideas to make the most wonderful scrapbooks you and your friends and family will love for years to come.

How a busy mom makes photo books!
I’ve been using this app to make photo books for my family for years. I transitioned from digital scrapbooks with photoshop to using this. It’s great because I can work on-the-go. There are many kits available and they are affordable. I hope they continue to make kits for years to come!
Purchases don’t transfer across devices
I’ve been using this app for many years and I’ve created many pages I’ve printed and made into books. I recently got an iPad specifically to use with the app so it’s easier to see what I’m doing instead of using my phone. I have spent a lot of money buying kits and features over the years for this app and I never buy add ons for other apps. Never. Hardly any of purchases have transferred and are not usable on my iPad. I have been emailing the support for almost a year trying to get it worked out. Last I heard from them was weeks ago. The support is just one person who answers all the emails. I have loved this app but being able to get help is super frustrating. I don’t understand why it almost seems forgotten by the people who created it. Just beware if you use it across devices your purchases may not transfer and be available on all those devices. And if you need to contact support you may not be able to get the help you need.

Potential to be really great.
I started using this app and buying kits a few months ago because I wanted to shift away from documenting online. And though I’ve enjoyed learning how to navigate it and create in this space, I am finding it incredibly frustrating that certain cards are only for certain spaces within a given layout. I buy a kit that I like sometimes only because of a few cards I want to use; only to find out that they don’t actually work in the places I would like them to. I don’t understand why there has to be a division of title cards, journaling cards, etc., within a layout. They should all be able to be used interchangeably. Needs improvement.

Easiest way to app scrap!
The free download of the app includes plenty of free layouts, card kits, and fonts to get you started. Of course, there are in app purchases for TONS more layouts and card kits, a few more fonts and a couple of added journaling options as well. The layouts you make with this app are based on the old paper Project Life pocket style scrapbooking. It is intended to be easy and quick but still provide beautifully designed cards to complement your photos. I wanted to leave an updated detailed review because many of the older ones are negative. There was a period of time when the app was on the back burner but they do regular (not monthly) updates again now. I came across the app when I was searching for an easy on the go way to scrapbook a road trip and I have NEVER looked back. There are so many card kits in the app- hundreds! Of course, not all will be your style but there’s so many to choose from. And if you’ve been using the app for the near ten years I have, you might want to try adding cards from other digital scrapbooking stores to your pages (you can download, unzip, and store them in a cloud or your photos app then add them to a page through the photo selection tool). There is no easier way to scrapbook than this. PERIOD. PeRiOd!!

It could be a great app
Too many times I have worked on a page and come back to it to find it is gone. I can’t find it anywhere. I’ve been told by support that I haven’t updated the app (incorrect). Also, I HATE that you can’t buy the kits and use them on your Mac book or your IPad.
