Incredible Program!

I am so grateful for this amazing program! It has been a life saver for me.

Help

I updated the app yesterday and now I can’t log into it.

Enjoying project power

I am enjoying the app. They just added the exercises in the app in which I tried the meditation which was great. The app was part of the diabetes prevention program which I joined along with some family members to help with diabetes awareness and prevention . It has been a great program that I felt was user friendly and I liked having the experience of having a coach with live weekly sessions with my group. Looking forward to the next step in this program.

Program is fine, videos are inaccessible

Program is nice. Some groups are dominated by individuals that have high needs for attention (so just like any other group in life). Videos are AI computer generated so they are difficult to decipher and the captions blend into the graphics so they cannot be seen. The computer generated voice is hard to decipher. Coaches vary it’s clear some have favor towards select participants so your experience will vary just like any other interaction . The app is ok. It has extreme focus on weight. And even if pre-diabetic is permitted in program so no glucose or A1C testing the app looks for data on those domains plus smoking (and you can’t hide relevant factors — like smoking!)
The high focus on weight is concerning since weight/BMI is not the only indicator of health.
The concept is based upon the standardized curriculum set forth by the CDC. However the standard curriculum does not tell individual programs they must focus on weight, smoking or other points

Amazing Program that will help you reach success

This is a well thought out and helpful program. My coach Mariana has been enthusiastic and inspiring and brought our group together . To work in a group with people who all have the goal to lower their Hemaglobin A1C has been so very supportive. The coaching, working in a group, the weekly videos and the classes inspired me and strengthened my resolve to reach my goal. The Project Power app that I used on my cellphone helped me track my daily exercise and walking, log my food and calories, keep track of my weight , view videos and attend classes. The Withings scale that we were given is amazing. Not only does it track your weight, it tracks your heart rate , muscle mass and much more. By using the scale in the first three days I saw that my heart rate was too high and notified my doctor. For me this was a symptom of a thyroid disease which I had no idea I had , as I had no other symptoms and I did not feel my heart beating faster. The Withings watch is wonderful. You can not only keep time, you can keep track of your heart rate, exercise, keep track of your sleep and many other functions. The classes taught and run by Coach Marianna were especially helpful. The class on stress was outstanding. I would like to recommend that this class be the very first class in the Project Power Program. I recommend this class highly to anyone who wants to lower their Hemoglobin A1C . The American Diabetes Association is changing lives for the better with this very helpful program and it is free! Thank you!
