word junkie, this app is perfect for me … being a pensioner I can’t afford to subscribe ( as much as I’d love to!) however the free version is very good. You get to learn 1
word a day and there is a few different ways used to reinforce the meaning so that it hopefully helps it stick in your memory!
Some words are ones
you may be unsure of but even if you know them, it’s good to see the exact meaning and how best to use them. It uses humour, drawings, cards etc so as not to be boring! I highly recommend it!

Not a fan
I like the visuals but I don’t understand why I’m getting charged for a year of this. Words are not common enough to use. I would rather words I can actually implement but if you use the words they suggest, no one will know what you’re saying!
