About

PromoShot helps you turn screen recordings, videos, photos, captions, and drawings into polished promo assets. Build product videos and image sets in a visual layer editor. Start with a screen recording, import videos or images, add captions, trim source media, arrange layers on a timeline, and export ready-to-share videos or selected still frames. PromoShot is designed for app makers, creators, founders, and marketers who need clean product visuals without opening a desktop editor. Features: • Capture screen recordings or import videos and images • Build compositions with video, image, drawing, caption, audio, and background layers • Set layer start times, durations, order, visibility, position, scale, and style • Trim video resources before placing them in a project • Create image cuts from one imported photo and reuse them as separate layers • Add captions with custom fonts, colors, alignment, padding, and voice clips • Preview your composition while editing • Export finished videos or selected frames as image sets Use PromoShot for app demos, launch videos, social posts, product updates, App Store visuals, and quick promotional content.

A much faster engine Rendering, preview and export now run on a new GPU compositing engine. Previews respond faster while you edit, and exports finish sooner — the gain grows with the size of your project and the number of layers. Built for big projects • Compositions with hundreds of layers stay responsive: selecting, dragging and re-ordering no longer slow down as the project grows. • Resource lists handle hundreds of videos, images and sounds without the scrolling hitches large libraries used to cause. A timeline you can actually navigate • New playhead window — show 10s, 30s, 1m, 5m around the playhead, or Fit to see the whole project. Long projects stop collapsing into unreadable slivers. • On iPad and in wide layouts, a new Lanes view stacks layers that never overlap onto shared rows, so a 200-image slideshow reads as a few rows instead of 200. Switch between Lanes and the classic layer list at any time. • A layer you just added is scrolled into view instead of being appended out of sight. • The selected layer stays visible even when the playhead window would otherwise filter it out. Playback fixes • You can now drag the playhead while previewing. The handle follows your finger and playback resumes where you release it, instead of snapping back. • Audio and video trim previews play through excluded stretches correctly — they no longer appear stuck, freeze after a skipped section, or stall when a clip is entirely excluded. Export fixes • Stills and GIFs render every video layer, in the right front-to-back order. • Captions and drawings stay sharp when the export is larger than the canvas. • Exports no longer leave temporary files behind.
