The tourism experience is a multidimensional process for the visitor that seeks answers to specific questions: Where should I go? Which sights are worth visiting? Where should I stay? Where is it best for me to eat? To increase visitors’ satisfaction when travelling around Amorgos, this application provides a Personal Guide to the user. The Guide recommends places to visit, routes to follow as well as lodges to stay in the island, based on algorithms that recognize your preferences and personalized style. The mobile application has been developed in the scope of a research project. This research has been co‐financed by the European Regional Development Fund of the European Union and Greek national funds through the Operational Program Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, under the call RESEARCH – CREATE – INNOVATE (project code:T1EDK-02474)
