Amazing for zoom, not for recording on phone
I love this teleprompter. The voice scrolling is better than any teleprompter I have used. The low rating is because I cannot self-record on my phone with the teleprompter. I thought it was could when it said on the website that I could use it from my phone. Otherwise, it’s great for zoom calls and online workshops.

Hi there, thanks for your feedback. You can use Prompt+ on your iPhone, but not with zoom sadly. You also mention wanting to record with the teleprompter. Prompt+ doesn't record video, but my other app, Teleprompter for Video does (and works in a very similar way to Prompt+, but has more features). Glitching before and after update
This is my go to prompt app that I tell everyone to use but lately it crashes when I open scripts. I’m so frustrated I’m going to switch apps after 4 years using it. The way I’ve tricked it is by pasting the new script as an edit over an old script.
Excellent prompter with voice scrolling
Does exactly what it should with advanced features like voice detection scrolling for a one time fee compared to other apps that charge monthly or annually! Voice scrolling works great, to text spoken words and scrolls the prompter at your own pace versus being forced into something that’s time based and turns out being very monotone. Has all the options you would need for a teleprompter plus control with another iOS device Bluetooth device. Great paying for your buck! Support by the developer is very prompt.

Bugs everywhere
I’m not sure what the developer has been doing for the past 2-3 years, but it hasn’t been improving stability, at least based on older review. Because the app today in 2025 is a buggy mess. Yes, it’s incredible when it works. It has a great feature set, and is easy to use. But that’s only when a random bug isn’t getting in your way. iPhone being used as remote disconnects randomly from the ipad, causing it to continue scrolling, causing a bad take? Yep, it happens regularly. What to open up settings to reconnect the devices? Oops, thats a freeze, time to restart the app. Need to edit a script on your macbook to make a quick change, or edit the font color? 50% chance of crash. Importing a script from a pdf or copying text over from Word? I hope your talent can read past all the “d”s or whatever random letter being replaced to some random character, making a jumbled mess of a script if you’re in a time crunch. I’ll give an extra star because the app does genuinely do great when it does work. It’s just so unreliable that I’m done with it, and am searching for a replacement. Don’t bother with this app if you need a stable platform.

Excellent App
This is a wonderful app! I’ve been using it for a couple of years. It has a number of great features - sometimes you need to dig in the UI a bit to find them, but once you do they are certainly worth the effort. Integration with other iOS devices (as remote controls) is well implemented. I also use a StreamDeck+ to control the scrolling. Highly recommended.

Import Function Broken
As far as a teleprompter goes, it works as advertised and the remote function works flawless. Had to knock off two stars because the import function doesn’t work. Importing through Dropbox, Google Drive or locally all result in errors.
Voice scroll crashes app.
Just installed. Paid the $20 to use longer scripts and only then discovered that the app crashes every time I try and use voice scroll. Useless.
Good when it works
If it works then it’s good, otherwise you’ll waste hours trying to get it to work. Support is unresponsive so there must be a better option for you.

L’app en soit est super…dommage qu’un simple copier coller depuis une autre app rendre l’app absolument infernale à utiliser…
Works but frustrating
I use this tool and it works well once you have the script in. The problem comes when you are editing the script - first, it does not pick up any formatting when I cut and paste from word into the editor. When you are editing it gets glichy. you select text and it unselects it, if you used a color to highlight some text and go to the next ine and want ot reuse that color you have to select it again. It does not translate commas or apostrophes - instead it places a box. That's an issue because it takes extra time.

This is a good non-subscription app and I thank the developer for not going down that road. I had some issues with the speech recognition timing out but the developer explained how to set up iOS up to use local speech recognition. I wish that had been included in the help section of the app but I have amended my review accordingly. This app is really good value for money.

Good but speech recognition flawed
This is a good non-subscription app and I thank the developer for not going down that road. Regrettably there is a big BUT which I and others cannot resolve. There is a daily limit on the amount of voice recognition that it will do, and it’s not a big limit. Once it has been exceeded it it says that speech recognition should be set up locally. I run iOS18 and speech recognition is already set up but Prompt+ won’t use it and there are no settings within the app to make it do so. The speech recognition it uses is ok provided that you’re close enough to your device but it’s not viable to use it as you cannot anticipate when it will stop. Fortunately I have another app which I bought before it became a subscription app but I’d really like to move to Prompt+ permanently so I hope that the developer can resolve this.

Amazing value and works great
This app has all the features of much more expensive apps. The ability to sync with an iPhone/iPad is really helpful and the voice control option works well. If you need another take the voice recognition will automatically pick up where you are starting from without the need to manually scroll back.

Voice scroll doesn't work properly
I purchased this app specfically for the voice scroll and it doesn't work well at all.
While it does detect your voice, it often gets stuck randomly on different parts of the script.
There's nothing more frustrating than getting near the end of a script and having to reshoot because the prompter doesn't advance. I've had this happen NUMEROUS times.
