It Erased Everything!
I have had this app for literally five years and used it on and off as a personal journal and ways to write ideas and poetry. Five years of various things. A few from just this week being my most recent works and it’s all gone. 😭 I’m in actual tears. I was typing up something and got it completed added the date and hit save only to receive and error report. It deleted everything I wrote and so I was frustrated but tried again. I hit save again and then it erased everything!! I have nothing. I tried reporting an error but reports aren’t available?! I’m devastated. I loved everything with this apps promps and easy lay out. Years of my life, growth and work gone to an app error that I cant even address.

Good but needs improvements
It’s a great app, with great prompts. I’ve used it on and off for about 5 years now. I just wish it had a better structure to labeling and arranging of the notes.

Been looking for a well designed app for writing on a regular basis and I’ve found it!
Please can we have a password on a future update and also the ability to arrange the different texts into folders.
Great app, simple to use. Trick is not to set the maximum word count too high so it’s not achievable everyday.

App review!
Most helpful writing app I have come across to date. It has enhanced my life. The arrangement of the daily timetabling etc with prompts has helped break writer’s bock should it come up. Well done to the designer…recommended.

I really love this app. I had it for years unused. It just was, but recently I gave myself a 30 challenge to write something everyday. With the daily reminder and prompts, I’m on my way to a good habit.
The one percent off is that syncing is glitchy and duplicated stories that I made changes to from device to device. On one sync 12 stories became 24 and deleting became a game. Deleting the duplicates through the app would not remove them from iCloud. So they would sync back to the app. Then deleting them from iCloud doesn’t and shouldn’t delete them from the app so they got synced back to iCloud when the app synced again. This has the potential to take over iCloud if with lots of duplicate stories. I’ve resigned myself to only using it on my iPad. 😞

Genius, simplified, creativity starter.
I always remember props in high school English classes. This is like an adult version and you can just write and write and it gets things out of your brain that you didn’t know where there or you can splash them on the paper and realize that you have a knack for writing and talent. It’s fun to see.

This is best app ever!
It’s like having a teaching tutor in the room and not feeling the pressure of 2 humans in the room! I love it! It prompts you, and my favorite feature is that it lets you know your actual “grade level” you are writing at!
It use to be good
But now it’s getting VERY freezey and even crashes a lot or just doesn’t load up. Probably needs an update...
It’s helped my writers block
I just wanted to express my gratitude to the developers for making such a helpful app, I’ve had writers block for several months now, and after buying this app, I’ve actually been able to write again!
The starting sentences are helpful and so are the prompts, I am a little confused by the statistics though, and I’m unsure what AI confidence means, but other then that, I’m satisfied.

Great App
It’s a great app, I just wish I could get back the things I delete, no matter how long they have been deleted. I accidentally deleted something and now I can not get it back, but other than that, it’s a wonderful app.
No longer maintained and other issues
The app was last updated a year ago. When I reset my statistics it deleted all my work, as reported in other reviews. (Luckily, I had a back-up.) I've also always had issues synchronizing across devices. The app has very little functionalities. I do not recommend spending money on it, there are alternatives.

Where are the creative prompts??
I wanted to write a story, not a journal. You should call it journal prompts. It is not for “creative writing”.

I like it, but...
I love the general idea of this app, but I have two problems.
1. The biggest issue is this app occasionally eats something I’ve written, and I can’t get it back.
2. Once I turned on custom prompts, it no longer shows me ones from the app, and I wanted the two to blend.
I’d like to keep using this app, but I’m shopping around for a new one because I shouldn’t have to email myself the prompt archive every day to prevent the app/iCloud backup from destroying my writing.

Good but needs more
I like the app, but it seems a little too boring. I need more prompts and advice. It would be nice if there was a feature to explain the stats, and also to help with spelling as I’m dyslexic but love to write.
Status of app
I have found out the hard way that if an app has many people reporting problems or asking questions, and the developer(s) never answers them within the review, or corrects the problem, the app will not be useful. That’s the case with this one.
