Deceptive billing practices
The moment you sign up for this, make sure to cancel it. It is difficult to cancel and if you don’t it will just keep micro billing you every month whether you use it or not. In addition, the cut and paste function does not correctly transfer punctuation and this was maddening.
Far too expensive
It works, but it’s clunky and definitely not worth the subscription cost. Needs to be waaaay cheaper or massively improve the UX
Watch Out!
I’m giving this app 1-star because of a gotcha. The voice tracking works well, so if you use one prompter, it’s a 5. But we use two prompters, and this app says it does mirroring, which is true. But you can’t vertically invert (turn upside down) the text on the mirrored iPad to use it with a prompter. Gotcha!
What’s the point of mirroring if you can’t invert? They already have a separate app for monitoring the script by the producer. If they add inversion, I’ll rerate to a 5

No longer recognizes my voice
This app used to be really good. I’ve had it more than a year. But it suddenly stopped recognizing my voice and no longer scrolls. I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled it. I’ve messed with all the controls. I’ve used it without a mic and with one. Nothing works anymore. I won’t be renewing my yearly subscription if this isn’t fixed. Don’t waste your money until then.

Best Teleprompter App
This is the best teleprompter app I’ve seen in the last two decades which anyone case use to come across professionally on camera
Excellent teleprompter app for mobile phone
I used this for a couple of days of free trial to try out its capabilities and see if it might help me prepare for a live demonstration/ performance. I only had one script to test, and it worked excellently on that, when I went off script it was able to catch up about 80% of the time depending how far off script I was. It kept my timing really well and even works well with voice notes enabling me to record my voice while watching the teleprompter. I forgot to cancel the free trial due to some manic work travel and it took the annual fee off my work credit card- I’m not allowed to buy technology with that so it was a bit of a disaster however with a simple email to the support email they immediately refunded me- so I was incredibly impressed with the customer service as well. If it was possible to just buy a month at a time I would for sure do that shower re I don’t need a 12 month subscription and even though I thought I was signed up for 9.90 a month it took the entire annual payment. I will definitely come back to this is I can get my work to sign off on it, it is by far the best tool Ive tried and I have paid for a couple of teleprompter apps in the past.

Not reliable
the App just crashed at the beginning of my presentation and got stuck. I restarted it a couple of time but still no success. And yes I closed it completely. Not something you want to experience on Stage.
LOVE THIS APP!
I’ve been using prompt Smart for years on my Mac, and I recently got it for my iPhone because the other app that I had been using was taking up way too much memory and causing my film to lag. This is so much better!

Nach der Verlängerung meines Jahresabos wurde ich aus der App ausgeloggt.
Anmeldung und „Passwort vergessen“ funktionieren nicht.
Der Hilfe-Button mit Chat reagiert nicht.
Auch die E-Mail zum Zurücksetzen des Passworts erhalte ich nicht.
Den Vorfall habe ich bereits bei Apple gemeldet.

Why no background fir the text
The text is not readable even if I change font and make it larger… and background’s color doesn’t work as intended
Why the trickery?
I just paid full price for the “Pro” version just to find out it doesn’t track in Spanish. Their solution? Sign up for our subscription! It’s the same product! They fixed a defect, changed the colors, and added it as a new subscription product. Never mind the prior “Pro” version being full priced and half-backed! Very sketchy and a sham in my opinion. I will be looking elsewhere and you should too. There’s no need to get on the subscription train for something like this anyways! Shame on you “PromptSmart”!

Great concept, unreliable execution.
Despite speaking clear Standard German and reading scripts verbatim, VoiceTrack repeatedly fails to advance. I’ve tweaked every setting; it still stalls and forces retakes. The time lost has become unacceptable. Until reliability improves, I can’t recommend PromptSmart Plus for professional environments.

Schrift zu klein
Eigentlich könnte dies die beste Teleprompter App im App Store sein. Denn das automatische Scrollen mit Voicetrack funktioniert echt gut. Leider ist die restliche Bedienung nicht gerade komfortabel und eine Sache ist wirklich ärgerlich: Selbst auf der größten möglichen Einstellung (10/10) ist die Schrift noch sehr klein. Wenn man ein normales iPhone (kein Max) nutzt und das Display in einem Teleprompter spiegelt, ist das einfach zu klein! Ich verstehe nicht, wieso die Entwickler das nicht ändern!

Son seul atout mis en avant « the voice tracking » il track mais quand il veut et il veut pas souvent . J’ai perdu un temps énorme avec cette appli , heureusement il y a 7 jours d’essai mais il ne faut pas plus de 7 minutes pour se rendre compte que c’est une arnaque , une de plus . Dommage le concept était sympa .
