About
Record a minute of English, or upload a text and the audio of you reading it, and get a report that shows where your sounds differ from General American and what to practice first.
WHAT YOU GET
- A sound-match score and a one-line "Start here": the practice area with the biggest payoff, with the words where it happened and a word → phrase → sentence practice ladder.
- Next priorities, ranked, each with the context where the difference shows up.
- Your speech, sound by sound: your text with the detected sounds under every word, so you and your coach can see exactly what was heard.
- A PDF of the report to send to your teacher or coach.
THREE WAYS IN
- Record now: speak for about a minute. The words are recognized on the phone and you confirm them before the analysis.
- Upload two files: any text (.txt) and the audio of you reading it. Every word is known, so every sound is compared.
- Upload one audio file: free speech, off the cuff.
Built for adult learners working on an American accent, and for coaches who want a snapshot between sessions. The analysis follows General American conventions: flapped t, reduced vowels in unstressed syllables, the raised vowel before m and n, and other accepted variants are not counted as differences.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
- Everything runs on your phone. No audio, text or report is uploaded; there is no account and no analytics.
- Recordings are deleted once the report exists unless you choose to keep them.
- One-time purchase, no subscription.
NOTES
- Needs at least 15 seconds of speech; about a minute gives a full report.
- The report describes the recording it came from, not your speech in general. It compares sounds with a reference; it is not an accent score.
- The app ships with its speech models (about 550 MB), so the download is large and it works offline from the first minute.
