Bad update
There were features that I were really hoping for in the new update such as being able to scroll to different parts of the script and just over all usability being more efficient, but now I’m having issues where it doesn’t even save the whole script when I paste it in and the login seems to not work most of the time. Hoping this gets resolved soon

Update has issues
It’s frustrating typing apostrophes or quotes. As soon as you save it, get of the script and then open the script back up, all the apostrophes and quotes turn into question marks. Doesn’t matter which font. Please fix!
Used it for years until now
I used to love this app and used multiple times a week for several years. I have it loaded on two iPads and was always able to rely on this app to perform properly… that is until a couple of weeks ago. Now when I run it the remote iPad does not match up with the script iPad. Now they are several paragraphs off for each other. With no fix in site.

Great support and works great
I have used Prompter Studio Pro for over 10 years and have always been very satisfied by the performance. If you want an app that is plug and play with no issues this is the teleprompter app for you. Thanks, Blake
Still works and solid, workaround tips.
What I found is with ever major update of iOS remove and reinstall app on each device. This gets around a bug when two devices are trying to sync with the app. Still a solid performer on today’s latest devices. Thanks!

Sometimes works - mostly doesn’t
This used to work. Years ago. Now can’t get it to connect with my iPhone. Bluetooth doesn’t work. WiFi doesn’t work. No update in years. Very disappointed.
Works well
I was an original sub subscriber to this app but when I upgraded to new ipad and iphone, I read all the poor reviews and tried another product that was terrible. I called Bodelin support to check out the status of the app with latest IOS and was told all is well. I re-loaded the app on both devices and it worked perfectly right away.

Bluetooth Support Broken!!!
No update in 2 years! Bluetooth support between iPhone & iPad with iOS 11.x doesn’t work (they know it, it’s in their tech notes on the website). Peer to peer only works if your iPad has a data plan, if not, they will require a third device to host. Works perfectly in our studio when both can connect to the same wifi, but that’s no help on location. This is a deal breaker & we are now being forced to look elsewhere for an app that works for us...so sad. Been using this app for years (and loved it) & suddenly got screwed on 2 client shoots back to back before finding their tech notes. Wish I could just ask “please fix”, but another huge client shoot in a couple days is forcing us to move on. Not looking forward to the extra expense & down time of learning and teaching the rest of the crew the in’s & out’s of a new app...Ugh!!!!!!!!

So good, then...
This app worked so well with the iPhone as a remote, it made us look like pros. Then the bluetooth stopped syncing and it was a disaster. The remote, from an iPhone to an iPad in my case, has a section feature that makes doing retakes a breeze. The problem is the section feature only works with the remote. The iPad alone only scrolls and pauses. Doing a retake on a section can only be done by starting from the beginning and painfully waiting for the section to scroll. All this app needs is to have the full remote functionality when not using a remote.

Don't buy this
I got this a few months back and tested it out to make sure it was a good choice once the time came to do my shoot. Everything worked well then. Today I spent 3 hours trying to get the remote feature to work with no luck. Probably has to do with a new update from apple. Don't buy this. It will give you nothing but wasted time, wasted money and a lot of frustration.

Wasted valuable time on this one. Not intuitive. Spend 11.99 on a better one!!
Time saver. Money saver.
Once we got past a couple Bluetooth bumps (connecting my iPad to my DP's), we blew through eight scripts in five hours, setting up for three different actors. Entering scripts via the ProPrompter Producer website and synching to iOS devices made on-site updates simple [the client was sitting right there making changes as we shot!!] One of the most useful app purchase I've ever made.

Great App
Not the cheapest, but inexpensive because "it works." Works in either horizontal or vertical screen orientation. The asterisk "cue" feature is awesome. Simply insert an asterisk in your script, then swipe right or left to jump forward or backward to your cue points. Great for Podcasting.

Don't waste your time and go cheap. $14.99 is a bargan for something that actually works great. Also, if you need a remote, buy theirs. It's a Satechi BT MediaRemote Bluetooth Multi-Media Remote Control available thorugh Amazon. Match this up with a professional teleprompter for you camera and you really have all you need for agreat experience.
