Excellent Game!

I think this is my favorite of the different Word + Balatro-like games I’ve tried. I really like it.

I just love the concept and design. Most of these types of games you’re fighting monsters or something like that. As a writer and editor, I absolutely love that here it’s like you’re an author creating words and every few levels have to fight with an editor. Super clever! The vibe is sophisticated, the file size is small, it’s good on battery (at least if you turn off sounds and so forth, which I do). I appreciate that you can speed up the calculation animation too. And it saves your progress if you exit to the main screen, perfect for playing in short spurts.

It took me a bit to figure out upgrading tiles in the library; you have to drag tiles that you want to upgrade down first, and then drag down the upgrade you’re choosing. Everything else in the game is very intuitive.

Although I’d prefer no data collection at all, here it’s not linked to you and appears to be minimal for functionality. That’s acceptable.

Thank you, developer, for doing it all right and monetizing fairly with no ads or sneaky IAP. I applaud indie developers who are fair like this.

I highly recommend this game!

This is easily one of the best word Balatro-likes. Highly recommended.

Awesome Game

This game will be a welcome addition for those who want a solo play scrabble with “balatro” like elements. Cool music within the game, and well thought benefits to boost your score. You can tell the creator was creative in expanding the game board to suit any play style. Highly recommend, and eager to see expansions within the game and more challenges!
