Great

Useful

Easy to use

Clean interface, easy to add logins and generate passwords, easy to access autofill

Almost perfect

The only issue I have with it is that it often glitches when I try to create a new login entry on Brave

Nice

Be smart. Use a password manager that isn’t built by the same software company that built your OS

Blank screen

Just throwing blank screen on iPhone 17

Best-in-class.

This is far and away the best password manager I have ever used. Browser integration is perfect across all of my browsers, and I use a lot. iOS integration is also great but does require some effort to use this instead of Apple Passwords. I expect to be using this software for a long time.

Great

Has a lot of good features. I am still new to it.

The Best Password Manager and Autofill App

I have been previously using other password managers with unconventional subscriptions.
Since i have switched everything to Proton Pass , i have even got free features that i have previously paying for. The Sync Speed and Easy to Filter password makes it easy for managing credentials. I love the Document and Id files features too.

THE best password manager

Simply THE best password manager there is - all others fall well short somewhere

Icon

I would like to see a matching Icon with the iOS system and others Proton’s Apps.

Terrible Products and Worse Support

I’ve tried for months to report an issue with Pass crashing the native Apple keyboard. One problem is the Feedback form in the app doesn’t work properly. The form itself expands past the screen after you attach a file so you can’t even see what you’re typing. Then you can’t even submit it because it says it’s not in JSON form. The other problem is even when I’ve gotten around that issue, they’ve only asked in turn ask me for a screenshot or recording…absolutely maddening.

If you use other Proton products, you’re lucky if they work well enough to allow you to get anywhere. ProtonVPN connection stalls constantly…CONSTANTLY!!

Proton Mail doesn’t let you type if there’s no connection (see VPN stalling).

Mail can’t even format text on iPhone.

Calendar is a joke of a program that can’t even hold attachments.

It’s a miserable cycle being in this ecosystem. Their support sucks and their products are inferior to the point of making my smartphone worse than a landline. They just advertise bomb you to buy more of their accounts/products without being able to support their existing services.

Awesome add-in

Love Proton Pass. It integrates with web browsers all I’ve used in(safari, chrome, brave, Firefox) their app is simple it knows when a site or app is requesting a username/password. After having some accounts become compromised the time to switch to this was well worth it.

Solid Performing Password Manager

I’ve been with 1Password for a long time and using Proton Pass alongside it as it matures. It’s getting a lot of the best features and the bugs out to where I’m going to use it exclusively and cancel my other subscription. If you’re on the fence, check this out!

Fantastic app. Need layout improvements

App is fantastic but I wish we had an improved visuals for things that we access often more than just pinning.

Pretty good

Best available for mobile but if you’re on laptop/pc it’s better to use Keepassxc

Passing thoughts

I’ve been using Proton products for many years. I have a previous “well known” PW manager which I periodically extract long-ago passwords from. Proton Pass has become my main always use PW manager. I have been using it ever since it was released. I have grown to enjoy it and it surprises me with new features/updates, and has become sleek, even powerful and is a great addition to the Proton Apps.
Recommended.
P—> Social Security has caused me to recently drop a level ($) in the plan I have. It’s now been a couple months, and I need to find a way ($) to return to the top pier Plan…. I miss the extra & advanced features.

It is a good and useful app with a simple UI.

The UI is very simple and easy to understand. You can rely on this one app across all platforms iOS, Android and Linux.

Lack of importing options

Cool app however I can’t import from my apple keychain data, the apple app doesn’t recognize proton pass as a manager

Response from developer

Hi. Importing from the mobile app is not yet possible, but we'll note your +1 to help the team prioritize future improvements. Have you tried importing your entries from the web app? We have a guide on how to import your entries from Safari to Proton Pass via the web app/extension. If you need help, contact us via the "Feedback" → "Send us a message" feature in the app.

Just, the best.

Proton has it all, including phenomenal service.

Failing to save passkey

Each time I try to save a new passkey on an already saved login it fails.

Response from developer

Hello. Thanks for taking the time to review our app. Are you having trouble creating passkeys on a certain service? Please report this to us via the "Feedback" → "Report a problem" feature in the app so we can look into it.
