What's New in ProTransport

Everything is new in this version of ProTransport. ProTransport was written a long time ago and has evolved over 15 years. Much of that old code has become unsupported which means it could be the source of bugs when Apple updates the OS. It wouldn't be fair to do so much work and have no new features, so we added haptic feedback to the buttons and controls, added support for dark mode, and also localized the app in French with other languages coming soon. We have added support for Windows! Support for Windows works thru network CoreMIDI and rtpMIDI for Windows. We added haptics to the buttons so you can better feel each button press. This can be disabled in the Settings. Fixed a small bug with the status overlay, it was appearing underneath some UI elements! oopsie.

The app won't connect with my computer even with the firewall disabled.

Waste of Time

This is a waste of time and money.
Apple is supposed to be plug in and play.
I've lost over an hour of productivity trying to get this to work.
Been using mac os for over 10 years for music so I know what I'm doing.
