Subscription? Why? Does that not defeat the whole purpose of this app?
I’ve personally not seen any ads yet, so I’m giving this review 2 extra stars as long as I don’t, but why the heck is there an option to subscribe to remove ads? That defeats the entire original purpose of this app, which is to watch Youtube without ads for free! Come on, what were you thinking?
shuffle not staying on with playlists
this app is amazing! my only gripe is the shuffle on playlists isn't staying on when a new video starts. i have to re hit shuffle every time. its a bit annoying but livable. great otherwise!
Buggy
Playback issues. Audio dropping out. Video playback issues. It does a good job on Ads though.

Great at skipping all but creator sponsor ads
Love the ads being blocked, is there a way to toggle on/off skipping sponsor ads by creators (like the Sponsor Block extensions on browsers do)?

App still has ads when using mobile data
Great features that should be free
However it’s really annoying that the whole home page refreshes after I play a short and press/swipe back. I lose everything I was gonna watch next. There’s also a long lag when I click back.

Annoying bugs need to be resolved
I have no qualms with the app, but only a few bugs to share.
1- there’s a consistent and reoccurring problem with background play; you leave without killing it the app, voice stops. You reopen the app, infinite buffer.
2- another one is locking the phone while voice is on. Occasionally, voice stops while locking the phone, and when opened, voice resumes.
3- slow responsiveness from the app’s UI makes it bothersome and rather horrid to deal with.
4- search history in the search bar is scrambled to high hell, showing results of random searches from days or weeks ago.
Bugs 1+2 are fixed by killing the app, others are consistent.

Playback doesn’t work
My playback doesn’t work. It’s add free but it turns off when you come out of the app
Excellent app
No data collection and something that performs akin to Ublock Origin on Firefox, brave, etc for us more privacy and anti adware oriented individuals. Highly recommend this app and greatly appreciate the developer. ❌🤖

Playlist Buttons
I noticed whenever I try to shuffle my music playlists or loop a video on here it just doesn’t work. Everything else seems fine except the fact that those buttons don’t do anything. The app is nice but the fact that YouTube can do that but this can’t is sad
