A large update to how expression signs sound, how notation lines up, and how big scores perform. New signs • Continuous Elafron, plus eight compound neumes built on a subordinated Oligon. • Half-diesis accidentals now resolve to their correct oriental pitch. Expression signs play by the theory • Omalon, Antikenoma, Eteron, Varia, Petasti and Psifiston now choose their reading from the surrounding music instead of a fixed duration setting. • Tap a sign to pick a different reading note by note. • The Note Inspector shows which reading is playing and why. • The sign picker shows both sides of each variant's equation, drawn on the note you are editing, in your composition's own mode and direction. • Eteron and Omalon draw in the correct order in right-to-left compositions. • Eteron bridges the whole pair on short neumes. Tempo and measures • Insert double-tempo and half-tempo signs mid-composition. • Double-tap a tempo sign for presets or an exact BPM. • Per-measure beat overrides now include 1 and 1/2. Ison and modifiers • High and low octave overrides for the drone ison, with an octave arrow that places itself. • Choose which internal note a Gorgon or Klasma applies to on compound neumes. • Only one modifier per category can land on a neume. Alignment • Auto-align now covers fthoras, accidentals, compound neumes and complete modifier stacks. • Modifiers centre on the real ink of each glyph, measured from the font. • Printed and exported scores get their own alignment, tuned separately from the screen, and printing recovers cleanly if font loading stalls. Sound and speed • Clicks at pause and stop are gone; notes now release naturally. • Updated instrument sound bank, with instrument names that match what plays. • Large compositions scroll and edit noticeably faster. Also: resizable keyboard panel, modifier search in the Library, a refreshed tutorial, and many right-to-left layout fixes.
