Keep up to date with well chosen, relevant psych articles
I absolutely love this app and am surprised there are no reviews. It presents a well chosen collection of psych articles, podcasts, and videos on psychology-related topics. The curator gleans from a variety of online sources, and highlights suicide, aging, depression, neurobiology, gender identity, sexual orientation, new research findings, psych-related changes in government policy and programs, and a wide variety of other topics. This is a great app for anyone interested in mental health, whether professional or lay person.

Do not download!
This app has interesting articles and videos. However, it will constantly crash in the middle of watching videos, listening to interviews and reading articles. The fact that this app has zero support and costs this much money is ridiculous. Please fix this app it does have potential.
Faculty
I'm recommending this site to all of my psychology majors. Well-organized and bursting with current information on all manner of psychology topics.
Disappointed
I was excited about this app until everytime I'm in the midst of reading an article I get kicked out of it! Very annoying!! I hope this somehow gets fixed because I love reading the latest about how we as humans operate mentally...
Great app for
current psychological news.. But need to add a favorites section to save articles to read more up on later and an everything section so I can view all news in a list without having to select each individual section title to check the news.
Does not
Load more than 3 items of content per category. Not good!
Fantastic!
I have a BS in psychology and am pursuing an MS in school counseling. This app is fantastic, as it offers many different articles regarding various specialties within the field of psychology all in one place! Also, the creator, Michael, is incredibly helpful and truly makes an effort to make this a great app. I truly recommend this app for any student, teacher, or individual interested in the field.

Must have
I will go as far as to say that this application is a must have for any new psychology majors. Michael continously updates the information, so you will have access to new research on a regular basis. I was fortunate enough to find an article on new methods for social psychology research that the research lab I'm an assistant in found useful. Great app.

Great app for Psych
This is a great app. Lots of information and its easy to find what you are looking for. Worth it!
Excellent app for any psychology lover!
As a psych nerd, I was very pleased with this app. Michael Britt did a great job compiling any important psychology information in the news into one simple, convenient application. Definitely worth the purchase for any fan of the subject.
All Things Psych
This much-needed, psych-infused app is great as is and has fantastic potential for being the iPhone/iPad-based place to go for all things psychology. The app provides blurbs about interesting topics in the different subdisciplines of psychology, and then directs you to sites, articles, and videos that provide more information about the topics. An excellent app.

great access to current news and information on psychological science
PsycExplorer is a nifty tool that brings together a variety of video, audio, and text sources of current information in a range of psychological science topics. It scans high quality sources to put them at your fingertips, categorized by subdiscipline (e.g., personality, therapy, cognitive, critical thinking, etc.). Allows email forwards and tweeting of entries. The only limitation I note is that you can only browse content in the predefined categories. There is no search feature. I really enjoy it, particularly when I have some free time, for entering a category and scrolling through the many entries to look for interesting new reports.
Disclaimer: I was, by way of a general invitation to a psychology professors' listserv, invited to review a beta version of this app. In exchange, I received a free copy of the app. However, if I did not like the app in the first place, I would not have installed and used it. This review, to the best of my knowledge, accurately reflects the app and does not omit any issue other than the one mentioned.
