I do highly recommend using this study app. The big advantage is that can browse through the questions/categories. Rather than just going blindly through the questions. I really love it

I love the fact that you can choose if how familiar you are with the questions so it can give you similar scenarios/questions to become more familiar.
Free Trial Scam
I hope this warms people on how their free trial is a scam. I redeemed their free trial and when time came to cancel the subscription, turns out you have to contact support - you cannot do it through the settings menu like with any other app subscription nor the app- Support is never available and they are charging you!! I have contacted support via email two times with no response. Called multiple times with no avail.
Whatever you do, DO NOT REDEEM THEIR FREE TRIAL!

Not functional
I continually redownload this app over the last couple months hoping it’ll work but it just black screens :(
Scammed
Do NOT download this app it is a scam. They offered a free trial for 3 days before a fee of 15.99. BUT when I entered my card information I was charged immediately and was given no free trial. The subscription renew date said the date of purchase? I can’t even remove subscription because they force you to contact customer service in order to edit subscription. Lo and behold, nobody picks up. I hope you’re ashamed of yourselves targeting poor people who are trying to start a new chapter in their lives.

Worthless
I thought this was going to be a great app, but after answering the initial 900 questions, it stops, doesn’t go back through them. Completely worthless.
One of the best study guides!!
I’m so glad I found this app, I’ll be taking the PTCB exam tomorrow. The biggest thing I like about the app is that it gives your performance and percentages of what you struggle with. Practicing maybe 30 or so questions a day has made me way more confident that I’ll pass! Wish me luck lol 💕
Use to be 5 stars what happened?
Recently I have noticed more and more questions with the wrong answers. What happened? This does not help with studying if you are giving the incorrect answers to the questions.
App no longer works!
I love this app, but after my free trial was over the entire app stopped working. The home screen is white. When I click on the progress tab, it takes me to the subscription tab. When I try to buy a subscription, the button does nothing. I sent an email through the settings page, but I haven’t heard back. I’m so disappointed :(

So thankful!
I’m so thankful for this app! I used this app exclusively (besides my work experience) to study for my PTCB, and I just passed on the first try! I highly recommend this app for anyone attempting this exam.
App not working
This app used to be great. Now it’s unusable. The home screen is completely whited out. When I go to buy a subscription, the page won’t load.

A Must Have Resource!
Don’t usually write reviews but I passed my PTCB first try and I would say this app helped me tremendously. The questions not only helped me direct my studying but also showed me what kind of question could be asked and how they could be structured! It also helped keep questions that I didn’t know or knew organized so I could come back to them later! I would highly recommend this for anyone studying! Thank you PTCB mastery!!!!

Passed my first try!
The app was so useful. I scheduled my exam giving myself one month to study for it and studied using this app daily. I went into the test confident in my abilities and passed finishing with an hour to spare. Thank you!!
Wasted potential
Otherwise great app ruined by lack of very simple to implement features. After taking ~1000 test questions, the app shows you what your strong & weak topics are.
Then does nothing with this information.
There is no focused study tool that lets you only study your missed questions or struggle topics. This would be such an easy thing to provide considering they already track all of your answers on a per question basis, I have no clue why this feature wouldn’t be present in the app.
Additional weird problems in the app:
- Your performance in each topic is displayed via percentage, but is not ordered from strongest to weakest topics 🤔
- Many instances of text running off into the right margin of the screen & are cut off entirely, namely on the drug name suffixes list, in which the entire right column is cleaved & largely unreadable
- At least ~10 duplicate questions (honestly not that bad)
- custom test creation makes a single instance of the test generated. Ie, every time you generate a test it is the same one— unless you customize it from scratch all over again. Want to test the same topics but with 50 questions instead of 40? Get ready to tick 20 boxes all over again! Hope you remembered your selection!
That all said, this app shows extreme promise. The actual questions themselves are great, the explanations are thorough and concise, and the UI is clear to use. As a tool used only to benchmark your current knowledge one time, this app is great and will do just that. However if you goal is to drill concepts and actually improve your proficiency, this app sadly has next to no means of doing so.
TL;DR: This app has 0 post test features and a lot of quality of life features that are easy fixes. If you want to answer 800 questions and never practice your missed questions, this app is for you.

Exam: 4•24•24
I don’t think I have ever written a review for anything but I feel like this app deserves the credit. Since June of last year I have been studying nonstop to get certified as a technician, I tried taking the pretest 3 times and failed the first two times. I finally passed the pretest- 1point above the score I was supposed to get. Anyways, I didn’t find out about this app until late 2023, and it has helped me greatly. This with the test/example questions on the actual PTCB website was a lifesaver. Of course $80 seems a bit excessive, but I took my chances and I am so glad I did. I passed my test- I’m not sure what my score it yet, they take like 2 weeks to publish it. But getting to the point; this app is definitely worth the money, some questions are kind of stupid and repetitive but what can you do

Helpful tool!
I took my test yesterday and passed! This was my most used study tool. I tried nearly every other prep app and this was the most user friendly and best detailed. Worth the subscription for sure!!
Exam Prep
This app is amazing to use to study. The practice questions on this app are accurate and they matched the test outline. I took my test today and passed it on the very first try, it’s WORTH paying the subscription if you are someone who really needs to study hard. It gives you detailed answers to these questions increasing the amount of knowledge on the topic. I recommend this app above all of the others, it truly has been a blessing.
