What's New in Pulse AI

1.1

August 12, 2026

Scan a barcode Point the camera at a packaged food and Pulse reads the real label instead of guessing from a photo. The product's own picture, calories, carbs and protein come with it. Heart Grade Every meal now gets an A–E grade for its heart impact — and tells you why, naming the nutrient that drove it and how much of the grade it accounts for. Honest about what it doesn't know If a label never declared its sugar, Pulse says "not declared" instead of counting it as zero. When too much is missing to judge fairly, it holds the grade back rather than handing out an undeserved A. Processing level See how processed a food is, from whole foods through to ultra-processed. No barcode? Photograph the nutrition panel on the pack and Pulse will read it. Also in this release: a quick confirmation when a meal is logged or updated, and a fix for the camera's close button sitting too close to the top of the screen.
