User reviews

Finally know what my drives actually cost

Logs every drive automatically, zero effort on my part. The charging breakdown (home vs Supercharger) and seeing exactly how much I'm saving vs gas is exactly what I wanted. The live dashboard with tire pressure is a nice bonus too. Big plus that it's read-only, so the app can't control the car, it just reads the data. And way cheaper than the other Tesla apps I looked at.

FAQ

Does Pulse EV have ads?

No, Pulse EV is designed with privacy in mind and does not contain any advertisements. It also avoids ad or behavioral-analytics SDKs, only collecting anonymous crash and performance diagnostics.

How does Pulse EV get data from my Tesla?

Pulse EV uses your Tesla account credentials and requires a virtual key added in the Tesla app. It accesses data through Tesla's official Fleet Telemetry stream, which is read-only and does not allow Pulse EV to send commands to your car.

What are the subscription options for Pulse EV?

Pulse EV offers a 14-day free trial. After the trial, users can choose between 'Pulse Base' for $2.99/month or $29.99/year (1 car, 365 days history) and 'Pulse Pro' for $6.99/month or $69.99/year (multiple cars, unlimited history).

Is my data safe with Pulse EV?

Yes, Pulse EV prioritizes data security. Your Tesla tokens are encrypted at rest, the app uses certificate-pinned connections to its servers, and offers optional biometric app lock. You can also delete your account at any time from the settings.

Can Pulse EV wake up my car?

No, Pulse EV only accesses data when the car is already awake via the Fleet Telemetry stream. Opening the app will not wake up your vehicle.

What information does the live dashboard provide?
