Overall a solid product, but the app experience leaves a lot to be desired.
The Pulse Pro hardware is great, but the app feels sluggish—especially when trying to take spectrum-based PPFD / DLI readings. The readout often takes way too long to load, and I regularly find myself force-quitting and restarting the app just to get a single reading to register. It can take several attempts and several minutes just to get usable data, which is frustrating when you’re standing there with your phone in hand waiting for it to respond.
The spectrum breakdowns and data are fantastic when they work, but I’d love to see the app optimized for speed and stability. A tool this good deserves better software behind it.

Your app or server needs some upgrades I believe…I’ve struggled using the app since installing with being buggy. The last day I haven’t even been able to open the app. It stays on the white loading screen. Plz help

This app is simply a direct port of their website. The app basically only loads a webpage.
Charts aren’t that customizable and don’t display that well with the chart legend.
I would love to see a full update that actually has proper charting and isn’t just a web view of the online version.

Good device, not so good app
I bought the device because I wanted to be able to track the environment in my grow tent over time. The device is amazing, it’s accurate and it gives you a lot of info about the environment (even calculates vpd). But the app is no where near as amazing as the device. I find the app very hard to use and very glitchy. When I try saving changes in a given template I have a very hard time getting the change to actually save. I also feel the app is very glitchy on my smartphone and using the graph is a nightmare. All In all I’m pretty happy with the device, but if the app doesn’t improve I won’t be buying anymore pulse grow devices.

Neat product
This is an awesome product and app. Recently, my VPS reading stopped popping up on the chart area when I select a certain time. It would be cool if that worked again. Other than that it’s great. It with the app losing quality though, I’m def searching for other more reliable options.

third grow etc etc... the pulse has taught me years worth of hands on experience in a short time. that alone has saved me time AND money growing healthy plants from seed to harvest. pulse picked up a leak from my humidifier and saved me a major headache !! the pulse team has and shares ALL information regarding how to grow and any questions you will have. seriously worth the money 👍

I tried all sorts of weather stations and gadgets but they all lacked one thing or another.. until I finally found Pulse. The app is easy to use, designed specifically for indoor growers, and now with a iPhone app it is hands down the best purchase I’ve made for my garden!

This device is invaluable to any size grow room. What it WILL teach you, you don’t even know yet! If you are trying to improve your quality or quantity buy one. Same if you have mastered or are a noob to VPD, same if you want connectivity to your room(s) like warnings, remote checking...
Bottom line? This is the best tool I’ve ever used to learn what’s going on in a room over a period..... that changed everything.
Control strategies changed, new insights learned (like what the hell? Did at the Plants burp at 2:35 am or what???
