About

Built for deep work, not background music. Pulse Lab is a minimal, distraction-free audio app designed to help you focus, study, and get into flow. Isochronic tones and high-quality color noise — nothing else. No playlists to scroll, no feeds, no clutter. Pick a session, press play, and work. BUILT FOR FOCUS Isochronic tones across a range of frequencies, from slow and steady to alert. White, pink, brown, and other color noise for masking distractions. Long-session support that stays running through hours of work. Real-time playback visualization. HOW PEOPLE USE IT Deep work sessions and coding sprints. Studying for exams or certifications. Writing, designing, and creative flow. Meditation and mindfulness breaks. Wind-down and relaxation after work. OFFLINE AND DATA-FRIENDLY Download sound packs once and play offline forever. Wi-Fi-only download option to save mobile data. No streaming required during sessions. INTENTIONALLY SIMPLE No accounts. No social features. No feeds, no recommendations, no clutter. An optional upgrade removes ads for uninterrupted sessions. ABOUT YOUR DATA No account, no profile, nothing to sign up for. The free version shows ads through Google AdMob, which uses an advertising identifier, and anonymous crash and usage reports through Google Firebase help me fix what breaks. That is the extent of it — nothing about which sounds you play or when goes anywhere. Headphones recommended for the full isochronic effect. Pulse Lab is for people who want their focus audio to get out of the way and let them do the work.

What's New in Pulse Lab

2.0.0

August 17, 2026

A calmer Pulse Lab. NEW LOOK Deep navy and teal replace the old red-on-black. Red is the colour of alarms, which was never right for an app you open to focus, wind down or fall asleep. The audio visualization, buttons and highlights all move to the new palette. NEW ICON Matches the new look. NEW NAME The app is now simply Pulse Lab. EASIER TO READ Several labels sat too close in tone to the background and were hard to read. Every text and background pairing in the app has been measured against WCAG contrast standards and corrected. Nothing about how the app works has changed. Same one-time upgrade, no subscription, and everything you have downloaded still plays offline.
