What's New in PulseRipper

2.0

June 19, 2026

PulseRipper 2.0 is our biggest update yet, and it starts with SuperSitter! The complete SuperSitter positioning engine is now built right into PulseRipper, replacing the original algorithm behind the SIT knob. Push your track forward for presence and punch, or pull it back for space and depth, all while you let it RIP! What's new in 2.0: SuperSitter technology: the full intelligent positioning algorithm is now integrated into PulseRipper, giving you total control over where your track sits in the mix. Rock-solid stability: a top-to-bottom rework of PulseRipper's internals for dependable performance across every DAW and workflow, including external and hardware controllers. Tighter sidechain: improved sidechain precision and control for deeper responsiveness. Even lighter on your CPU: leaner processing means even lower CPU usage. The sound you know and love is untouched, just more powerful, more stable, and more efficient than ever! Enjoy, and Happy Ripping!

More flexible than you think

I admit I mainly got this one for its awesome rhythmic modulation, but I've used its more subtle effects even more (especially on guitar)

I like it. But it repeatedly fails and returns a signal error after a few minutes of use.

If it didn’t do, that would be fine. Not sure how to contact the developer directly.

Response from developer

Update: this issue has been resolved with the 1.0.6 update release. Hey there, something happened with the recent OS update that caused PulseRipper some signal error problems (along with a couple other minor issues that are less obvious) when combined with other plugins. My most sincere apologies for the inconvenience this caused! If you’d like to contact me directly you can send an email to seacadalabs@gmail.com I’d be happy to help you out in any way that I can!

This does nothing

I spent $10 on this and it appears to do absolutely nothing

Response from developer

Hello, there are some great videos on YouTube showing off the features of PulseRipper. I can assure you the hybrid Modulation and Distortion effects that PulseRipper produces can be extremely strong or subtle, however you choose to use it. If you would like technical assistance to help you get started I would be more than happy to help you out. Just reach out to seacadalabs@gmail.com Just a reminder that PulseRipper is not an instrument itself, rather it is an effect you use on instruments/voice/recorded tracks inside of your favorite DAW like GarageBand, Logic, Cubasis, etc, that utilizes AUv3 plugins.

Sounds Awesome!

Sounds awesome on a bunch of different instruments.

My New Go-To

Well this was an unexpected gem. I downloaded PulseRipper to try on some synth sounds, but ended up trying it out on everything. There's something about how it processes the sound that just works. Like everything gets more depth and personality without sounding processed or like a standard tremolo effect can feel kind of added on. It’s super smooth and musical. One of those rare plugins where you drop it on a track and it instantly just sounds better, even before messing with the settings. Great job! I can tell this is a new go-to.

Response from developer

Thank you for the kind words! The concept for this effect has been living in my head for about 20 years (originally wanted to make a physical pedal), so it’s been great to make it and have it out in the world for people like you to use!
