About
Most metronomes are made to be heard. This one is made to be seen.
Pulseview shows you the beat as clearly as it plays it — so you can keep time in a loud rehearsal room, on a noisy stage, or with headphones off entirely.
TWO WAYS TO SEE THE BEAT
• Bars — each beat is a column that lights up in turn, its height showing the accent
• Circle — beats arranged in a ring, pulsing as the bar comes round
BUILT FOR REAL PRACTICE
• Tempo from 10 to 360 BPM, adjustable in fine or coarse steps
• Tap tempo — tap along with a track and the app works out the speed
• Bars of 1 to 16 beats
• Four accent levels per beat — silent, soft, medium, accented — so you can build anything from a plain 4/4 to complex mixed-metre patterns
MAKE IT YOURS
• Twelve colour schemes, from high-contrast crimson to a restrained monochrome
• Eight click sounds: classic click, wood block, drum stick, clave, hi-hat, cowbell, kick drum, and a pure sine tone
• Light and dark themes, following your system setting
IMMERSIVE MODE
One tap hides every control and leaves only the rhythm pulsing on screen. Prop your phone on a music stand and glance at it — no buttons, no clutter, nothing to distract you.
NO NONSENSE
No account. No ads. No subscriptions. The metronome works offline. Optional usage analytics not linked to an account stays off unless you allow it. Supported production builds automatically send limited crash and diagnostic data to Google Firebase to help us fix reliability problems.
