Not what I was hoping for

I literally just started using it and it's not what I want. I wanted explanations and skills tests

Response from developer

Hi, I am thinking about how to provide explanations. I want to make it easy to use, and make sure the explanations are accurate and helpful. As a result, it is taking some time to figure out how to do this. Punc is a helpful game, but at a certain point there is no substitute for learning from a teacher.

It’s a nice app

I’ve lacked practice in punctuation recently and this app has been a great help. You only get 5 free practice sentences a day. I wish the app had some writing practice with punctuation. Overall a good app.

Response from developer

I'm glad Punc has been helping you practice punctuation! Writing practice is an interesting idea. I will spend some time trying to think of a neat way to play with writing. Also, if you are a student or a faculty member at a school feel free to reach out to games@sweetapplegames.com and I'll get you some keys for free access. Thanks for sharing your feedback.

I'm glad you're enjoying Punc!

So glad I found this!!!🥰✨

As a writer, I had been looking for an app that allowed me to practice my punctuation for a long time…and was so grateful when I found this!

Sentences are taken from literature and presented to you for correction. There is a book list — where the sentences originate — and you can also choose to mute some books while focusing on others.

The app developer really cares about users’ feedback and has already release considerable updates to the app since I downloaded it. There’s a streak feature that allows you to keep a track of how many days in a row you have used the app, as well a second that shows you how many corrections you’ve gotten right in a row. Additionally, new books are added to the database quite often, which makes each sentence feel fresh and never boring. If you’re a nerd for punctuation, or want to just hone your writing skills in this area, this is the app for you! Thank you to the developer for coming up with this app and for being so open to feedback 👍🏻🌈✨
