About

PunchDeck turns site photos into a polished punch list report you can hand to a client before you leave the driveway. Contractors call it a punch list, a snag list or a defect list — PunchDeck calls it done. Walk the job, photograph what needs fixing, assign it to a trade, and generate a branded PDF — all from your phone, all offline. WHY CONTRACTORS SWITCH TO PUNCHDECK ■ Your report always goes out Every report is generated on your device and verified before you ever see the share sheet. If a PDF can't be produced cleanly, PunchDeck rebuilds it at a lower quality tier instead of handing you a broken file. And because nothing depends on a server, there's no "the report didn't send" — the copy is already on your phone. ■ Three ways to deliver, not one Send the PDF by email or AirDrop. Save the pages as images and drop them straight into a group chat. Or copy a plain-text summary when a paragraph is all the client needs. Whatever channel the job site actually uses, PunchDeck covers it. ■ Photos you can mark up — and change later Draw arrows, boxes and labels directly on the photo. Annotations are stored as editable layers, not burned into the image, so you can reopen a photo next week and fix a mark without re-shooting it. ■ Every report is kept Each generated report is archived on the device with its project. Client says they never got it? Reopen the archive and send it again — no rebuilding. BUILT FOR PEOPLE WHO WALK SITES • Superintendents and foremen running pre-delivery walkthroughs • Home inspectors documenting findings • Property managers doing unit turns and move-out inspections • Independent contractors quoting from a site visit WHAT'S INSIDE • Unlimited projects with client, site address and reference number • Unlimited photos per issue — no cap, no extra step • Vector annotations: freehand, arrow, rectangle, ellipse and text labels • Assign issues to a person, set a trade, priority and due date • Optional cost estimates, totalled per project • 8 report themes plus custom colors, your logo and a captured signature • Trade vocabulary you choose: Punch item / Issue / Deficiency / Defect / Snag / Finding / Observation • US Letter or A4, your choice of paper and date format • Works with no signal and no account MADE FOR THE SITE Multi-photo issues, custom themes, your logo and your signature, and every export channel — all produced on the device itself. There is no account to create and no server in the middle, so it behaves the same in a basement as it does on a roof.

What's New in Punch List Report

1.1

October 29, 2026

PunchDeck 1.1 YOUR WORK IS NO LONGER STUCK ON ONE PHONE • Back up everything — projects, issues, photos, your logo and your signature — into a single file you keep. Restore it on a new phone. It's an ordinary .zip, so you can open it and see exactly what's inside. NEVER MISS A DUE DATE • Set a due date and PunchDeck reminds you on the morning it's due. Scheduled on your phone — no account, no server. FASTER ON SITE • Tap the circle on an issue to mark it complete, without opening it. Swipe from the left for the same thing. • Keep shooting: the camera comes straight back for the next photo. • Long-press an issue to duplicate it — handy when the same defect turns up in every unit. • Search and filter inside a project: open, overdue, completed. • Sort the project list by last updated, name, or client. MARK UP PHOTOS WITHOUT STARTING OVER • New Adjust tool: tap an arrow, box or circle to select it, then drag it into place or delete it. • Redo, and a choice of label sizes. REPORTS • Add a note under any photo; it prints with the report. • Leave completed items out when you want a clean to-do list for the client. • Sign as a different inspector on a per-project basis — for teams sharing one device. • See every report you've generated in one place, not only inside each project. SAFETY NETS • Undo after deleting a project, an issue or a photo. • Archive finished projects to keep the list short. Also: search in the directory, and a batch of stability fixes.
