Mom

Tell me what to do. Pretty worthless

No palms?

Not useful for me.

Crashes 100%

Seems like it has potential, but: 1) the user quiz comes up every time you open the app which is plain annoying; and, 2) Can’t open many of the tabs (the app crashes)
I would rather pay something than have this taking up storage space.

Quit working

Won’t work iPhone 11 Pro Max just did a survey but the app quits

Broken links

Very useful to diagnose issues, but none of the treatment links to 3rd party websites work. It would be better if the app had treatment within the app rather than linking to another site they don’t control.

This is a brief info booklet

I expected this app can automatically detect tree disease based on a photo of my tree, then offer me some user friendly suggestions. However this is not what I expected, This is more like a “booklet” that just shows some brief information regarding many trees, which you can find better info in google. Not worthy to buy it.

Great app for browsing diseases by species

App is very helpful to narrow down possible known problems for a species and as a reference guide for signs and symptoms. Pictures are great, info is great.

Not good

You have to know the disease or look up every disease listed. No option to describe problem, (i.e. Brown leaves, needles falling, etc.) Don't waste your time or money.

Great reference & Very convenient.

I am a college graduate and have been in the plant health care industry for over 10 years. I was pleasantly surprised with the intuitive format and impressed with how many different pests/ woody species were available for reference. Each disorder is well defined along with decent photos and key ID bullet points for quick reference. This is not a learning tool for novice horticulturist. If you cannot ID plants, this app may not be for you. For any professionals, botany/ plant pathology students, arborist, urban foresters, nurserymen, golf course superintendents, or PHC salespeople -
This is an great horticultural reference application for only $2.00!

Tree doctor

Good basic information to get you started solving many problems. Navigation is a bit puzzling, but a good app for the info nonetheless.

Needs work

The interface is done well but there are too many generic photos and answers. As an arborist this is a valuable tool when managing tree health. Please keep improving because this is the best one yet!

Tree doc

Good app. Easy to find info. Descriptions concise and give clear directions both chemical and biological.

The Tree Doctor is awesome!

In the last few weeks I have been able to ID 2 problems and take the appropriate action recommended by Purdue.
Baldcypress twig gall midge on my Dawn Redwood and powdery mildew on a Dogwood.

This app is so easy to use and I can use it on the spot. It's great!

Pretty cool

Needs a bit more work. Not enough pictures or diseases for any one tree. . I understand for memory purposes they Cain't include everything! Would still like it to be more region specific , would probably help with the memory thing. Overall very good definitely worth the 2 bucks! Found this app in arborist news.

Not good

Terrible app mainly because a very limited database of trees. Wish they would of took more time. Not worth the money. Update would be great!

Tree care specialist

This ap is a handy fast guide to diagnosing many of the problems I encounter day to day. Good clear photos. Well done!

Purdue Tree Doctor

My neighbor's maple tree had discoloration on the leaves and she asked if I knew the cause. I didn't, but got my iPad and we quickly determined it was "Maple tar spot" and that it wasn't a serious problem. Handy app to have!

Awesome App!

This app is great. I want one just like it for Turf as well. It's the perfect tool to have on hand out in the field.

Nice app

Nice app for the field. Needs control suggestions within the app versus sending you to a web page.

Excellent App!

This is the best $2.00 you will ever spend. Tree Doctor is easy to use, gives great information, and the pictures are excellent. This is a must have resource in the field and office. Bob Avenius - Regional Technical Manager
