I just downloaded the app so I’ve only had maybe two matches and no real conversations yet. I will update this review once I see where it goes.
Need to pay to use the app
I downloaded this app out of curiosity since I’d seen a few ads for it but you cannot match with anyone or even swipe left without buying their paid subscription.
Forces their user to pay before even using
They really screw their user by not giving them a taste of the app even if it’s for a day, with dating apps their notorious for fake accounts and engagement to capture a male audience, no way for you to even like someone without forking over a week membership. There’s plenty of apps that let you check users out for free and like them, yet you guys feel entitled to charge your user from the get go? No thanks, this is why your app will never take off. Take it from all the users like me who downloaded this and left right away. Bye bye

My favorite part of the app is probably the monthly subscription prices. These dating apps are all very expensive and PURE has been the cheapest one I’ve found so far.

Скам - приложение. Мужчины платят за подписку, чтобы быть в ленте и искать девушку, а после оплаты профиль будто уходит в тень. Лайки до девушек, похоже, не доходят, а поддержка игнорирует обращения. Постоянно пытаются развести на деньги с внутренними подарками, собатиями которые попросту не работают. Геолокация работает ужасно - может закинуть профиль в случайную часть страны, хотя находишься совсем в другом месте. В итоге платишь деньги, а нормального сервиса нет. Не рекомендую. Скам

Poor Interface
I keep seeing people I don’t want to. I only get to scroll by and not remove them from a list of possibilities. So I have to scroll past them again next time.

After having two previous meet-ups on here a few years back, and being tired of Feeld’s dystopian descent, I thought I’d try my luck once again with the original money-shredding dating app that is Pure, wondering if it had improved since I had last used it.
To cut a long story short, I paid for a month, and… lasted five days before deleting the app. Even as a tall, broad, objectively handsome guy in London, with professional photos, a personality and kinky experience, it was a depressing experience. After 48 hours, I received 4 ‘Likes’ (i.e. the algorithm boosting my new account), which were followed by 3 days of sheer silence (i.e. the algorithm dropping my new account). The new layout is a slight improvement on the old one, but without a way to remove adverts besides blocking them, gets boring quickly and feels deliberately rigid to force repeated, looped engagement and hide the fact that their female growth-rate is terrible.
Speaking of which, the main issues on the app: the number of women on there (i.e. hardly any) and the quality of the adverts (i.e. consistently abysmal). If you’re looking for girlies who do not value STD testing, are pregnant, are married, disheveled, super entitled, give off ‘failed micro-influencer’ vibes, or can’t be bothered to even clean their own bathroom mirror before taking a selfie, this is the place for you! After all these years, Pure still feels like Feeld’s scatty younger sibling, charging men for the privilege of pursuing a demographic of women who can barely spell the adjectives they’re using to describe themselves— who are audacious enough to see men as disposable drones that should empty their pockets on plush hotels and other gifts for them by way of an NSA hookup, simply because they are female and TikTok told them they’re worth it, but… not audacious enough to post an actual photo, have a personality, or write a sentence about themselves. I won’t even get started on the fake accounts clearly created by the app, who are 10,000+ miles away and disappear as quickly as they pop up…
So, what is Pure in 2026? Well, it’s still exploitative, still expensive and still incapable of delivering connection to anyone other than women, however casual. If you have self-respect, don’t want to get an STD, don’t want to shred your hard-earned money on pointless in-app purchases, or be forced to settle for some Anna from Amersham who thinks ‘hi!’ is an engaging advert, I’d honestly give it a miss. Feeld may be a literal capitalistic, unethical day-mare, but I’d still rather waste my money on there: a place where the vast majority of women are at least literate, single, well-presented and not on maternity leave.
Response to developer: well, congrats guys, you managed to copy-paste four whole stock responses together for a calamitous reply— good work PR team, you’re smashing it! Also ‘we can’t influence who you’ll match with’ is top-tier banter, from an app that openly exploits men by not only making them pay to access the app, but by reducing their profile visibility, creating fake female Russian profiles and I’m sure much, much more. Thanks team, I needed a laugh. P.S. What country is your company registered to these days: Cyprus? Switzerland? Germany? I can’t keep up (definitely nothing dodgy going on there at all… 😂)

Account was banned after signing up
I just downloaded the app to give it a try and my account got banned. No reason was given… signed up, added pictures to my profile and added a bio, went to go try it out and was banned from the app.

U get banned for no reason you don’t get a warning all u see is my head and shoulders and u get banned
