About
A notebook that only takes words.
Paste a paragraph from a web page into most notes apps and the font comes with it. So does the size, the color, the link, the bullet. A week later one note is wearing five typefaces.
Here, a paste brings the text and nothing else. The invisible junk that rides along with web copy gets cleaned out too: zero-width characters, non-breaking spaces, Windows line endings. What lands is the same as what you would have typed.
Moving notes to another device takes two buttons. One device shows a QR code. The other picks which notes to send and points its camera at it. No Bluetooth, no pairing, no shared Wi-Fi, no account. The notes are encrypted before they leave, and the key is in the QR code, which only ever goes from one screen to one camera. The relay holds ciphertext it cannot read and deletes it as soon as it is collected.
Notes are .txt files. You can see them in the Files app and take the folder with you whenever you want. There is no export step and no format holding you hostage.
Deleted notes sit in Recently Deleted for 30 days.
No formatting. No account. No cloud sync. No ads. No AI. No subscription.
There is a tip jar if you want to buy me a coffee. It unlocks nothing. The app is the same either way.
