Very bad & frustrating application. Play back glitches. Gets stuck in a 5 second loop. Won’t restart from where it left off even with the paid prescription.
No “start over” option so you just have to go to the next episode.

Scam App basically
Paid for premium, no change in privileges. Contacted support, no answer. Logged out and now unable to log back in due to the excess amount of ads that appear.. avoid avoid avoid and DO NOT PAY!!!

Paid for the app to stop the ads, they don't stop! App is flakey, screens can't be dismissed, developer doesn't respond. It does actually stream content but super disappointing.
Does not work
I paid for the upgrade to cast to my tv, but it doesn’t work properly. Casts video without sound. Live TV doesn’t cast at all.

Absolutely terrible for watching anything. Constantly freezes, and if I have to start over - I canNOT use the time toggle bar to move through what I'm watching. If i back out and come back, I have to try and fast forward, every 10 seconds to find the place I left off bc it starts the episode from the start again. If you get a call, good luck getting your audio back. Just did it again and I can't go back to where I left off. HORRIBLE APP. Now they want to try to upsell you to experience basic functions.

Got to be one of the most frustrating apps available. Despite having good WiFi connection, playback freezes, movies / series don’t play properly, constantly freeze, playback jumps back, constantly buggy, feels clunky and just generally not well developed. Bought the premium subscription to try and use chrome cast and other features and nothing works despite other apps not facing these issues. Constant pop ups and adverts despite the premium subscription. Generally disappointing and poorly thought out

Slow and awkward UI
Doesn’t allow you to scroll through videos. Forces you to start from the beginning every time
Misleading Purchase
Basic app worked well enough for me. I decided to support the app and pay for PiP but I consider it a con.
Unless there’s a hidden option - why would there be - You get PiP but only within the core app. What that means is leave Purple Player and while your media plays in background, you lose PiP. Now I have many apps with PiP and none work that way. Of course not. Who would want it.
Bottom line is don’t pay if you want PiP.
If they fix it I’ll update this review.
Otherwise don’t waste your money.
The app is okay as far as I use it but I can’t give a 3 or more star rating when I did not get what I paid for and feel ripped off.
