Ruined by newest update
Game now freezes the arrow every once in a while. Have to restart the game after. While I’m happy there are now save file options, it does not help that this a point and click adventure that is functioning only half the time. Also, the game was better in when the graphics fit the screen, but they made the visuals smaller.

i personally loved this game when i was little
my sister got it and we played it all day everyday. thought it would be fun to relive old memories, i was wrong. it won’t load it starts off going good and then it just freezes. the game still continues but i cant click anything so i cant move on in the game. can’t even get past the first scene. this game is so not worth $5

Broken. This ‘update’ steals the working version of the game.
The Humongous games mean everything to me. I want to support them. However, this game is completely unplayable with the new engine. It's upsetting that I purchased one product that was reliable to one day wake up to a completely new product. It wasn't just an update, it's essentially an entirely new app running on something that doesn't work. I wish I could get my money back since I had my old product basically stolen from me through the update. The same thing is happening to ALL the apps that have recieved this 'update' (app switching. Feels criminal.) Game crashes around every 10 clicks on iPad Pro-- you will be unable to click anything. Sometimes it fixes itself when you exit and return to the app, but most of the time it doesn't. You have to save often and reload if you want to progress at all since when you close the game it does not save your current stage (unlike in the old version) Frustrates the heck out of my toddler, who I'm trying to introduce to my childhood games. Here's what you should all do instead of buying this: Extract the .HE0, .HE1, .HE3 and .HE4 files from your old Humongous CD Roms on your computer, transfer them onto your iPad on properly named folders. (I.E. the HE0,HE1,HE3,HE4 you extracted from Putt Putt Travels Through Time, you put in it's own folder titled ike the game) Then install ScummVM's iPad and import your games that way.

Completely broken since 'update' and new engine.

Update unusable
There was an update that made the game no longer full screen and much smaller and harder to see and use. Please revert the update, the smaller game screen is awful! We need full screen back.
No sound people
Make sure you take your phone off silent mode and it should work!

I love this game, but unfortunately it’s unusable because of how often it becomes unresponsive.

please remove the thick black background, i need it to be in fullscreen i’m am currently breaking down in tears i can’t do this rn change it or i am deleting all of the games, this game was my childhood and you ruined it for me
Listen to reviews- NO SOUND
There are reviews from 4+ years saying no sound. Thought by now it would be fixed, but no. No sound. Very disappointed.
Nostalgic!
I got the game to play just as a throwback and I’m so thrilled. It’s just as I remember it. There IS sound, read some reviews about that and the game storyline/play does change. It didn’t switch up the first time, but it did the 3rd or 4th time of me fiddling around. Very happy!
Awesome BUT 1 star until story fix

Used to change what you got from where (artifact museum - used to buy the newspaper from the Wild West town to trade for your history report? I remember bringing feed to the blacksmith in medieval times for his dragon, etc. none of that happens anymore).
I’ve completed the game twice and nothing has changed. No randomization. Super sad because I felt like that was one of the major pulls of the game (and all the other games made by Humongous) was the replayability & changes!
Please, if you’re even watching this devs, please fix this!!!

Game comes with no sound
The sound doesn’t work. Don’t bother purchasing. Hoping for a refund.
Excellent game
I was so happy to see this game was on the App Store. I enjoyed playing this game on the computer as a kid and thought my youthful joys were long gone. I downloaded this to show my little brother who is 7 years old. It took a minute to figure out how to work the mouse like touch feature but after that we beat the game and he loved it too!

I’m confused
I like this game, along with the others in the PuttPutt series as well as the Spy Fox, Freddi Fish and Pajama Sam series. What I want to know is: why do the mobile versions of the Spy Fox, Pajama Sam and Freddi Fish games show up with their game number after the title (for example: Spy Fox 2) on my iPhone Games folder on my Home Screen, but the PuttPutt games show up as PuttPutt ETR (meaning Enters The Race) or JTC (Joins The Circus) and so on, instead of the games number?!? Why are the PuttPutt games displayed differently that way? I like to organize my phone apps alphabetically and in the order they are released (when it comes to Humongous Entertainment games anyway) and find it frustrating to have to figure out which one came first (yes, I know it’s JTP - Joins The Parade - but that’s not my point!) instead of having the app show up with the number afterwards. It would be so much easier if it said “PuttPutt 1 - JTP” and then I could have them in the right numerical order.

Loved this game as a kid and was so excited to see that it was an app. I saw reviews saying there wasn’t any sound, but some reviews said their sound worked fine so I bought it. There is no sound and I have tried EVERYTHING To get it. Checked settings, made sure my phone volume was on and ringer was turned all the way up, etc. please provide an update with sound that works or refund us…:(

So much fun!
This is one of the few Putt Putt games I didn’t have as a kid and it’s so cool to play it now! And for anyone saying there is no sound, try unmuting the ringer on the side of the phone, that usually unmutes games and it worked for this one.
